To confirm, I just completed 1-1 as you suggested, and it did not provide completion of the Birthday Suit Pub Crawl quest. I unequipped beforehand, and used spells and potions for all my kills since the sorceress does not have a natural attack with no equipment. I did not re-equip until back on the map screen and I made sure to save and exit out and start again before typing this post (since Don't Even Try required those actions to get it to register).
@Erile: as far as I can see, the sorceress performs attacks even without a weapon equipped. They don't do a lot of damage, of course.
Regarding your issue, have you tried using another browser? I've had problems with some quests not unlocking with one browser, but working perfectly fine with another.
Edit: I've assumed you're using the online save slot, aren't you?

Ok, so I tested it a bunch before, and yes, my sorceress never used a base attack when I unequipped her. Without skills and spells, she did zero damage. However, I just did another test and found a substantial bug regarding base level damage.
I reset my skills to nothing and went unequipped - she started doing damage finally! I bought my skills back and she stopped doing damage again! So, having skills = no sorceress attack damage when unequipped. No skills = yes sorceress attack damage when unequipped. So, there is an additional bug here.

I actually have, since I've done this on more than one computer (yes, online save).
If it comes down to the crunch, you could try as a knight, though people have done it with the sorceress. Urgh. Outside chance.
nichodemus, I'm going to try this. I just started getting a knight up some levels to try it that way.
@Erile I'm sorry! I messed up while typing! (Oo) It should be level 1-2 of course... just like you said the Quest info states. To clarify, I achieved it as a warrior without using any perks/skills, simply by bashing the enemies with hands. Maybe that's what's messing up your Quest achievement?
@Andelhofs I have the same problem of yours... quest was awarded, I see it under "my quest" and in the game page but still appears as to complete at that odd 17% completion
Another confirmation of this bug. I have "progress: 17%" listed in Latest Quests as well, which would normally mean one level completed. Though, I have Act I 100% completed, even all the Hard and Impossible missions. I do have the quest listed normally in both the game page and on my profile.
Not sure. We've been having issues with the progress reporting on that quest. It should now be fixed. I suspect going back and re-beating 1.6 will fix now. Clear your cache and all that good stuff.

@nichodemus Well, that confirms it does not affect the unlocking then. I thought a skill could be perceived as a weapon.
EDIT: Just checked Erile's profile and he's got it!
I managed to get it last night using the Knight class (had to get a knight leveled up enough to try).
I still wasn't able to get the quest with the sorceress class.
And there is still a MAJOR bug in that my sorceress does not attack normally. She only uses spells/skills but does not attack with her weapon. This really really needs to get fixed.
@Tasselfoot - Cleared my cache, logged out and in again. Beaten whole Act I (not Hard and Impossible missions) on 3 stars again. Nothing. Tried another computer. Still a no-go. :/
