And i really like the game (really good job @platonskedow... now *bullwhip* make us a Royal Warfare 2! (erm, hope you don't take the last part too serious )), expected/hoping for quests... and finaly...
After logging in again i got instantly 5/8 quests, after doing mission 4 at "Challenge" once more another 2 (Detonator unlocked also)... so only 1 left, well... sooner or later^^
To everyone wondering how to get the last 2 stars: you have to get every achievement. Most likely you are missing "Check Credits and write author a few words". So simply go to the main menu and click the credits button. Then the last quest should pop up.
Despite how easy some might think this is, I was wondering if there was a set of guidelines or walkthroughs available. I'm having problems wrapping up 7 and 12.
@bakkart my advice use as less as possible the given warriors/troops.. use knights to distract them from them. Kill Archer/mage as soon as you can... kill ghost first.. in one level there is a ghost wave.. use your metriote s kill to kill most..
I'm going to assume that the part of #7 you're having trouble with is the bowling challenge. The key is to realize that your bowling ball will insta-kill your warriors, so avoid dropping the ball on anyone closer than the pike line(a bit of trial and error should give you a good idea of the margin). Obviously, max out your warriors, and it should really be quite simple as long as the warriors only face off against isolated shield skeletons. Dark knights are very bulky and insta-die to the rolling meteors, and the ogres are far too slow. Also, try to drop your balls to the left end of the screen, as that way they'll hit more people. The double columns also converge around the pike barricades, so a bit of practice will net you 2 columns for 1 bowling ball.
For 12, it's important to keep laying down traps and spamming the rapid-recharge powers, and as andelhofs mentioned, using your free knights to shield for the non-free ones. Ice is a really powerful spell. In terms of deployment, I go with 2 of each ranger + 1 black/blue mage(for every scenario actually). The final wave with the dark rangers and vamp lords is tricky, but try to save a freeze or a meteor to dump on the dark rangers, which will allow you to avoid getting locked, while your freebie warriors hopefully survive in the middle. Throughout the process, avoid letting your warriors get hit by plague zombies(let your free meatshields take it).
Do you know what's killing me on the last wave of Challenge #12? I can get to that point fairly easily, and think I'm going to win, but suddenly it says "Defeat" because one of those three stupid NPC knights died. Who killed him? It didn't seem like anyone was close.
Thanks for the advice, though. I'll try the different arrangement of soldiers, and keep trying the bowling. (Definitely my least favorite level of all ....)
Meteors and meteor rain kill your men so I didn't use the latter at all, and the former only when the enemies are on the screen's edge. Land mines and Bombermen as well. I think arrow shower might to? Anyway, maybe one of those splash damage spells could have ruined your day.
Or a little skeleton archer squad sniping happily away whilst you were distracted.
Did anyone else get hung up on Challenge #7? I feel a little stupid ... I have everything else except #7 now. I just can't keep those two doorknobs alive. If they'd just stay put, I think I might have a chance, but they have to go way out and attack the enemy.
One more try and then I'll try again in a couple of days.
5 was the one that bugged me. For 7, try to maximize the ball's pathway kills and max out warrior skills. Don't think there's much else that can be done.
As I recall, the last wave of challenge #12 is vampire lords/dark hunters. I haven't been able to stop the vampire lords before they get close, so unless you have had better success there, I'm pretty sure they're the ones killing your knights.
