Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I'd like to inform you the game design of S&S2 is pretty much done, and I'm glad to tell you that LOT of stuff you mentioned will be in the game
That doesn't include multiplayer, which is impossible for us to make right now.
Here is a short list of the game features:
- World map of the Neverseen to explore. Main path + other side quests locations.
- Town to build and upgrade. Cool NPC to discover and interact with. (Blacksmith, alchemist, in keeper, other weirdos...)
- More dynamic combat system (real time dodge, block, counter, critical, etc.)
- More interesting enemies: attack patterns, abilities and Epic Boss Fight!
- Deeper Hero customization (Male/Female, More skins, skills, abilities, equipment, stats, etc.)
- Evolution in Training mini game with more features to unlock as you progress, more missions, medals, etc.
- 6 Different weapons class to upgrade/equip/loot individually.
- Unique Armor system to collect and upgrade.
- Awesome art and animations improvement
- Pets to catch and rich ally system, they will help you in fights.
- Secrets hidden in the dark...
- TONS of other stuff we want to add if we have time
I think taming pets to help battle. You should be able to tame them in side dungeons with items you can buy in the market. Also more moves like freezing moves, team moves with pets, and Drain life thingys
A way to convert money into XP, because you get way too much money in survival, even though by the time you unlock survival, you'll have bought everything, or most.
I love Swords&Souls as they are. It's really a neat game and I can't imagine anything that could make it better
However if I had to force an idea out of my head I would say...
A smaller numeric system? All those thousands in skills and health looks impressive but they don't change the game feel. I think smaller numbers would do just as fine ;D
Maybe a crafting system? Like going hunting to gain materials for armor, swords smith. Some mini games where you actually make your equipment ? Naming your equipment? Like your swords and shields?
Oh! Spell learning & alchemy? Like you visit a wizard and learn spells and train your skills like in S&S I ?
Just throwing ideas. Like I said S&S is awesome as it is
Maybe dodge or block during a fight could require some skills from the player and not only be automatic.
Also magic and range could be different path the player can choose (with Melee of course) ; also to make player increase everything a bit at least, ennemies could have some partiaal or total resistance to one or two strategies among Range/Magic/Melee.
Maybe is it possible to enhance the system with some dual skill (Magic/ranged = fired arrow, poison arrow; Magic/Melee = poisonous blade, freezing blade ..., Melee/Range = hit with your bow or launch your melee weapon) for bonus damages.
I loved the whole achievments and secrets system, keep doing this !
Also, it would be nice to be able to reset statitics to try new approaches, maybe at a coast (like xx% total experience ?)
I didn't like that changing look costs money... seriously, there is not even an achievment for this so I don't uderstand the goal behing it.
Achievments: cosplayer : try 5/30/100 different styles, with some that could be unlocked during the campaign, like getting an orc face for beating up 100 Orcs ...

You should add accesories like: rings,braclets and necklaces which give you some bonuses. You should also add like Monster bosses, there would be 3 at first; 1 in Suburg, 1 in Unholy Thicket and 1 in Toothless Mount.
