Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I'd like to inform you the game design of S&S2 is pretty much done, and I'm glad to tell you that LOT of stuff you mentioned will be in the game
That doesn't include multiplayer, which is impossible for us to make right now.
Here is a short list of the game features:
- World map of the Neverseen to explore. Main path + other side quests locations.
- Town to build and upgrade. Cool NPC to discover and interact with. (Blacksmith, alchemist, in keeper, other weirdos...)
- More dynamic combat system (real time dodge, block, counter, critical, etc.)
- More interesting enemies: attack patterns, abilities and Epic Boss Fight!
- Deeper Hero customization (Male/Female, More skins, skills, abilities, equipment, stats, etc.)
- Evolution in Training mini game with more features to unlock as you progress, more missions, medals, etc.
- 6 Different weapons class to upgrade/equip/loot individually.
- Unique Armor system to collect and upgrade.
- Awesome art and animations improvement
- Pets to catch and rich ally system, they will help you in fights.
- Secrets hidden in the dark...
- TONS of other stuff we want to add if we have time
I would love to see the economic parts of this game expanded! I'm a huge fan of games that don't lead you through economic decisions (ie price increases determine your choice) but allow you to make your own. There are a lot of pieces you can add (make battles for countries not just tournaments) that would increase the variety of economic choices.
Absolutely fantastic game btw! I love the game mechanics and small comedic relief
I would probably like to see these kind of things in SaS2..
-Class System I feel like a Class System would be pretty unique, as your skills will be more different, and it will be a different experience. You can probably use your currency to change classes if you really want.[i]
-Quests
Quests could give a more of an objective rather than just train, and beat bosses
-Armor/Weapon Attributes
Possibly you can add it so that weapons could have it's own unique attributes? Going from Increased Stun chance, poison chance, lifesteal, etc.
-PvP
PvP would probably be a huge thing, especially with the addition of Attributes, it could be something alot of people would do
-Storyline?
Maybe add more of a storyline rather saying.. Oh you have to battle in an arena, I'll help you train. So this could also mean there would be an antagonist
-New Stat; Stamina
This could probably be a new stat that would increase attack speed or lower skill cooldowns. Also, if classes were added in, Stamina can change depending on class.[i]
