Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I'd like to inform you the game design of S&S2 is pretty much done, and I'm glad to tell you that LOT of stuff you mentioned will be in the game
That doesn't include multiplayer, which is impossible for us to make right now.
Here is a short list of the game features:
- World map of the Neverseen to explore. Main path + other side quests locations.
- Town to build and upgrade. Cool NPC to discover and interact with. (Blacksmith, alchemist, in keeper, other weirdos...)
- More dynamic combat system (real time dodge, block, counter, critical, etc.)
- More interesting enemies: attack patterns, abilities and Epic Boss Fight!
- Deeper Hero customization (Male/Female, More skins, skills, abilities, equipment, stats, etc.)
- Evolution in Training mini game with more features to unlock as you progress, more missions, medals, etc.
- 6 Different weapons class to upgrade/equip/loot individually.
- Unique Armor system to collect and upgrade.
- Awesome art and animations improvement
- Pets to catch and rich ally system, they will help you in fights.
- Secrets hidden in the dark...
- TONS of other stuff we want to add if we have time
There should like totally be a new feel to the game. The original game mechanics are fantastic, great job to Soulgames for that! But, in the new sequel, there should be a greater emphasis on the character himself, perhaps a storyline or perhaps side missions pertaining to that. But apart from that, I think we should do things like a Soul Tree instead of the forest/menu look. there should totally be more secrets like the missing children, I loved those. Maybe even a treasure cave rather than a museum. Anyway, love your game, REALLY hope there will be a sequel. Stay classy!
you are on a good way to making this game great, but at the attack train I keep getting apples from the top and the botom coming in the same time, and in the archery range if you have a mission no mistake if you dont hit a perfect you will have to start over.
SAS2 Should have a ability. After 10 levels or so in the story. You get the ability to summon bosses you killed after that level. They are of course weak but they attack simultaneously with the character. So it's like a double strike but it lasts longer and it's weaker in each hit. But the stronger the boss the stronger the minion. And each boss minion deals 2X damage to the boss he is.Make it so that in the credits there is a mention of everybody´s AG name and what they suggested that came to life
Dungeoning(Caves, forests, castle ruins, fighting off bandit attacks on towns?) PVP (Clan system?), more weapon and armor variation (heavier armors block more, but reduce attack speed, axes, spears, swords, staves all have different attributes) NPCs in towns that give side quests(rewarding money, skill increases, XP boosts)different places to live in different towns, a better use for housing, oh yeah, and towns.
I might be asking a bit much here, I have no idea what it's like making a game, but these are just things I think might be cool.
Here's a suggestion, make this game or even the next one with the possibility to buy exp. It saves a lot of time to level up based on cash and gives all unused cash/gems A little more vale. I would say that the rubies would ave to be the requirement for such leveling as one ruby should equal 1 exp.
Would be nice if some mobs will have skills and immunity to somethig: for example the champroom would be immune to poison, mages would be immune to fire and berserkers would be immune to stun. Also, as i said, would be cool if enemies will have some abilities( maybe passive ), or active like ,,charge,, or ,,heal,,. This will add coolness to the game, that is already immpossible COOL!
You know what would be cool? Add a more advanced shop. For example... Shop Screen Boots Up. The Stock Shows, One Rusty Iron Sword, One Polished Iron Sword, and One Stone Sword. Shield Stock shows one leather shield, one paladins shield, and one pillow shield. Helmet stock shows: Viking Helmet. Barbaric Fur Hat. Unicorn Horn. Etc.
Add being able to pay money and recruit more allies to fight with you. To make them stronger you have to upgrade their weapons and armor. Also make it so you can hold more spells and potions.
