Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I'd like to inform you the game design of S&S2 is pretty much done, and I'm glad to tell you that LOT of stuff you mentioned will be in the game
That doesn't include multiplayer, which is impossible for us to make right now.
Here is a short list of the game features:
- World map of the Neverseen to explore. Main path + other side quests locations.
- Town to build and upgrade. Cool NPC to discover and interact with. (Blacksmith, alchemist, in keeper, other weirdos...)
- More dynamic combat system (real time dodge, block, counter, critical, etc.)
- More interesting enemies: attack patterns, abilities and Epic Boss Fight!
- Deeper Hero customization (Male/Female, More skins, skills, abilities, equipment, stats, etc.)
- Evolution in Training mini game with more features to unlock as you progress, more missions, medals, etc.
- 6 Different weapons class to upgrade/equip/loot individually.
- Unique Armor system to collect and upgrade.
- Awesome art and animations improvement
- Pets to catch and rich ally system, they will help you in fights.
- Secrets hidden in the dark...
- TONS of other stuff we want to add if we have time

I really liked how the grinding part of the game still required thought and concentration, and how it was actually pretty fun. That training method should definitely be kept. When choosing a character, maybe have it so the player has to start out a basic swordsman, but can change to mage or archer later on? The skill tree could be changed so depending on which class is chosen, the skills build up. The armor and weapons were cool, and they could be changed to fit each class. Certain special events or achievements could unlock unique weapons/armor?

Maybe give the choice of a girl character differences from guy being:
-Ranged is main attack and close range is a dagger with a chance to poison.
-Different skills and talents
-Different abilities (maybe focus more on avoiding dmg then dealing it E.g invisibility, increased dodge chance, etc...)
-Builds a boutique instead of a house

Some of my ideas include
1) PVP
2) special items that help combo boost in training such as slow down the speed or 10x multipliers
3) 2-on-2 battles where you team with defeated heroes which you can buy with the excess money at late game

A big idea i just had upon opening this tab is random events like fighting bandits, saving citizens, or if you want a bad reputation, stealing money, and sabotage.

maybe the player had to do different quests to impress different wives instead of building an entire house to impress just one.

make the weapon upgrading the choice of the player. instead of giving you only one route u can chose to skip some weapons. this way you can focus on let's say ranged, swords, pole arm ect.

same thing for the armor let it be chosen by the player instead of scripted.

I don't want to add really ambitious things into the discussion since I know how hard it is to program a game q-q, but I think a neat feature would be customizable armor? I really liked some of the armor designs in this game, but my love for them would greatly increase if I could change the colour and hue of the armor. I'm sorry if this suggestion would be really difficult to implement. If so then just ignore what I said.

Maybe making it a multiplayer game? And maybe you can make the player can craft some items to increase their stats. A charm maybe.
