Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I'd like to inform you the game design of S&S2 is pretty much done, and I'm glad to tell you that LOT of stuff you mentioned will be in the game
That doesn't include multiplayer, which is impossible for us to make right now.
Here is a short list of the game features:
- World map of the Neverseen to explore. Main path + other side quests locations.
- Town to build and upgrade. Cool NPC to discover and interact with. (Blacksmith, alchemist, in keeper, other weirdos...)
- More dynamic combat system (real time dodge, block, counter, critical, etc.)
- More interesting enemies: attack patterns, abilities and Epic Boss Fight!
- Deeper Hero customization (Male/Female, More skins, skills, abilities, equipment, stats, etc.)
- Evolution in Training mini game with more features to unlock as you progress, more missions, medals, etc.
- 6 Different weapons class to upgrade/equip/loot individually.
- Unique Armor system to collect and upgrade.
- Awesome art and animations improvement
- Pets to catch and rich ally system, they will help you in fights.
- Secrets hidden in the dark...
- TONS of other stuff we want to add if we have time
First of all this game is really great, well managed and ofc has high quality+modern graphics.
In short: Add Multiplayer mode.
I suggest you to make some continues gameplay mode, ofc its great that we can play unlimited waves, but it's becoming so booring and you have no profit from that. Make Multiplayer mode and add some shop for real money ($) to give use (donators) ability to buy some XP boost or DMG boost or etc. Make some Ranking Table where you will show TOP 100 players.
Profit: You get more rating and your work is becoming more popular + flash game lovers are happy and ofc you get real money($$$).
You have such a great code, animations, sounds, effects in your hand. DON'T waste it in nothing. May be 100 million people will play this game but 99% of them will forget after 1 week if they play only Survival Waves. So care about clients and business will care about itself.
keep the training I think you guys nailed that in the first. I liked playing the training games more than the fighting itself b/c it was more interactive. It's hard to make it more interactive for this fighting system but the clicking for a crit is in the right steps. If you are going to have magic maybe have different classes, with trees. Achievements in the first game were fun and definitely would like to see something similar. Maybe a more complex weapon system, spears two-handed swords, shield&sword, etc.
Hmm... I think you should add magic training, where in its like archer training but 2D, and make a magic bar like you know when you check your hero. Also how about adding money to when you complete training.(For this suggestion I just had a quick thought about so yeah). Maybe you could let us control the hero when we battle in the arena. And for my final suggestion, maybe add some like sidekicks or friends to help, I don't know I guess that's to OP.
Maybe add the training from the old game... And make the archery uses what the character uses?, Like for example... You are new so you're range weapon is an apple... so you will practice with apples..
Get it?. Also Comapnions and Bananas... Who doesn't like bananas
Factions - Fighting in name of a Faction would give you a benefital boost to one stat. However other Factions would hate you and would send some thieves to kill/rob you.

- Interchangeable weapon/armor/misc. looks e.g. going back to a sword/armor
- A feeling that the game doesn't revolve around training
- More end game content
- Building on the house idea, so it has a purpose
- "God Tier" set of challenges for training
