Thanks for all your suggestions guys! I'd like to inform you the game design of S&S2 is pretty much done, and I'm glad to tell you that LOT of stuff you mentioned will be in the game
That doesn't include multiplayer, which is impossible for us to make right now.
Here is a short list of the game features:
- World map of the Neverseen to explore. Main path + other side quests locations.
- Town to build and upgrade. Cool NPC to discover and interact with. (Blacksmith, alchemist, in keeper, other weirdos...)
- More dynamic combat system (real time dodge, block, counter, critical, etc.)
- More interesting enemies: attack patterns, abilities and Epic Boss Fight!
- Deeper Hero customization (Male/Female, More skins, skills, abilities, equipment, stats, etc.)
- Evolution in Training mini game with more features to unlock as you progress, more missions, medals, etc.
- 6 Different weapons class to upgrade/equip/loot individually.
- Unique Armor system to collect and upgrade.
- Awesome art and animations improvement
- Pets to catch and rich ally system, they will help you in fights.
- Secrets hidden in the dark...
- TONS of other stuff we want to add if we have time
it gets repetitive doing the same thing over and over. My suggestion would be like many others more things to do. Instead of constantly playing the same thing over and over again to level up and train, there should be an alternate way to do that. a Pet system would be nice for a mini passive effect such as. red dragon pet - 5% of using fireball (up to 20% at max level 1% per level or however you want it) green dragon - 5% of healing 5% of hp (up to 20% chance and 10% hp - these passives shouldn't be too powerful) etc. Next is instead of choosing the weapon for us, give us a Class instead. Of course this doesn't mean we should go for the classic/cliche pick this class type of game. But instead, your classes changes as you change your weapon. This will give us the option of buying weapons and upgrading it. It also gives us more unique levels where only a certain class can beat more easily than others challenging us.
ok lets get started, first things first the simplicity of the game seems to be one of its strong suits, train fight buy, not much in changing gear or equipment which isn't a bad thing but could be included, I would love to see more ways to change the look of the character? skin color is fine just maybe the color of look of the armor? (choose an earlier sword with the same damage as the one you maxed, color changing for armor), the trophies are fantastic bring them back! the missing children and the clover eating shroom should remain, how about some more storyline? "time to hit the big leagues" or maybe a new hero? train with the old scarecrow and maybe as a final boss the old hero? new look more ****** with his abilities? would be a nice, as for abilities maybe add a few and limit the number you can bring into battle? you could also do this with potions and scrolls? (magic), when talking about the crazier ideas maybe 3 choices on your here? (sword, bow, magic) each with different traits and abilities adding lots of replay value, I don't like the ideas of different swords of equipment that affects your stats, like I said simplicity is what makes this game fun mastering the minigames if sooo fun, if you could add more minigames so how that would be appreciated, consider adding more reaction in battles the critical click really throws you off for a while, possible a super block reaction for super strong attacks by enemies, dot be afraid to add some negative status effects that can hit then hero, hope this helped ill look forward for number 2..... (edit) dam I'm a little late on suggestions... I would put 5 dollars on that no one will read this ;(
Make it first person! Make it open world, with a story line To choose your character: Warrior, ninja, wizard, demon. Etc. And to chose your gender (male, female) Oh! And a new mode to fight
More skills? You have strength training and ranged (which are the best). It would be good to see more or have different classes of training rather than just one 'Upgrade Room' button.
