Listen, we've all been there. You come to a new online community, and you're not sure how to get started, or what to say. Luckily, the best way to get started here at Armor Games is simply to say hello! Whether you're here to get support for a game, have a chat, or make awkward comments about the weather, we're thrilled to have you, and hope you'll hang around for a long time.
If you want to make sure you're properly following Da Rulez, be sure to have a read through this Forum Rules, Guidelines, and FAQ Masterpost that compiles basically everything you need to know.
As for me, my name is Dora, and I'm here to help however best I can with anything you might need. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you need help you can't get on the Support subforum or Help page, or just want to say "hi"! I promise I'll keep my weird tendencies to a minimum until I get comfortable enough around you that I just don't care what you think about the My Little Pony/Spider-Man/Star Trek display on my book shelf.
Please try and make all our newcomers feel welcome. Remember that if you want to respond to someone specific and make absolutely, positively sure they get your greetings, you can add @thatpersonsusername and the site will send them a message saying they've been mentioned on the forums!
Hi
My name is Laugh Apparently there was another person with this name before me because there's comments on my page from 15 years ago even though I made my account today
That's all

Not sure whether I should spell out my entire life story here or just give you a one-liner to be funny. The community here seems to be mostly consisted of men of few words, but I've been brought up on girly games forums (games such as Like A Fashionista by Beemov - check it out, it's actually phenomenal) where people write huge 5-page essays to introduce themselves (could work as a CV, too), spending half an hour on picking the best color and font. Cause, you know how it is - girls try harder.
Anyways, my name's Polina, I've been here for not more than three weeks, I think. How did I get here? I tried to find this quest game with a blue elephant looking for his hat, a game I played way back in my childhood and suddenly remembered it one sunny summer day. Long story short: it doesn't work anymore, so, in order to patch up my broken heart, I looked for some other Armor goodies that could be interesting and stayed here for a bit longer than I thought.
Some of my interests are: AI tech, law, linguistics, psychological theories (Gulenko's socionics, MBTI, psychosophy, etc.), people, books, fan fiction, music making and music listening, all kinds of movies/cartoons. My first language is Russian and I also speak Simplified Chinese, so you can text me in either of those languages if any of them is your native. I'll just be happy to talk to you in general.
Obsessed with Logan Howlett at the moment (guess why...). Pissed that I can't set him as a profile pic. Send me a Logan gif to start a convo.
Bravo! I think the people here would've loved you!
...at least 8 years ago! You're a little late for this places prime and... subprime... I can relate to that.
As right now the only active ~eh~ thread is the CT100 thread in the Forum Games section Which, hey, it can get you an insane quest if you're into questing.
Otherwise, er... You can play Elephant Quest on Flashpoint. Or Steam if you're willing to pay. Money. 15$ of it.
sciller45, thank you three times for the "bravo", the thread advice and the tip for Elephant Quest. I'll use it!
About being late - yeah, I noticed... oh well, I can at least walk among the ruins of what's left, some say it's therapeutic. :^)
I enjoy walking the ruins. Partly because I never moved on. Partly because they remind me that despite 7 years having past, I have not changed one bloodied bit. Except that I'm wrinklier.
But if you're looking through the rubble, @pollina , may I recommend some threads:
NOTE: This placed used to have a search bar. But now you can just google eg. "AG quotes of the ages Armor Games" and you'll get there.
"AG quotes of the ages"
"Epic Rap Battles of Armor Games"
"How FishPreferred Are You?"
"Saphire's Poetry and Stuff" is still sorta active.
"The Forumnauts" by Gantic. Gantic is so awesome he gives me a headache. "They way of Moderation" by Strop and Cenere. Put that sucker in bold. It is the jewel of Armor Games. Lives were made and life trajectories significantly and permanently altered by its mere presence. It also gives me a headache.
"Count to 500 IV: The Hidden Path". Gets good after a few pages, but I am biased. I wonder if I'm *less* funny these days...
"Armorplayer's, abcdragon's and sciller's amazingly daft adventure to find all the hidden locations" - only the older posts. 0% bias here.
"D&D Game by the Actual Rules" An excellent one with an excellent plot twist!
Hi everyone, just stumbled on this forum while doing some internet crate digging with friends; I spent a huge period of my life as a kid on sites and communities like this. Thought anyone with attachment to this place would like to know that there are at least a few crazy people reading the random old posts of online strangers.
sciller45, thanks for sharing some old favorite threads; scrolling through The Way of Moderation was a nice reminder of the imaginative worlds and stories people would make with each other in the past, just for each other.
Hello, my name is Elon Denial. I am very fond of playing games and traveling. I have seven years experience in gaming industry, so I thought, why not share this knowledge so that other people can also understand how to play games. I have fulfilled this effort through a website called Gaming Hub Pro, where you can visit and find good gaming-related information along with playing games @gaminghubpro .
