This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

Oh, i just remembered. My brother got a reloading station, We can basically manufacture our own ammo. As long as we don't run out of weapons grade gunpowder, we never run out of ammo. We just reload the spent brass. Keep that in mind for scenarios.

I would probably tell him to back off. If he didn't I would leave him behind. If he kept on staying with the group and challenging me, I would kill him. This seems brutal, but it's the best way to survive and keep the group together. Should there be a break up, locations would be harder to defend. If I tried negotiation, people would start to question my position as leader. Killing is necessary.

Panic has just begun. You are stuck weaponless in your second story apartment. On the bright side, you live above a bakery, and your neighboring store sells guns. On the dark side, looters and zombies are everywhere. You have barricaded your apartment. Electricity is still running from a generator, but not for more than four more hours. You have enough food to last a week in your apartment, but that's only if the zombies and looters don't get you first.

@quakingphear: Very good scenario, as far as I'm concerned.

Lets see...

If I were part of a group of survivors, I would have established a chain of command, FIRST THING. Again, think of human nature. Unless I were lucky enough to have a ranking policeman or military man, my group would consist of regular people. People who have just watched their entire lives and beliefs turned upside down. Many would have witnessed at least SOMEONE they know either reanimate or get attacked and eaten. They would be looking for leadership, someone to tell them what to do. Hopefully, I would be able to help them survive. I would also have as democratic a group as possible. EVERYONE could voice their opinion. Sort of like a jury, I suppose.
Everyone would be evaluated according to his/her skills. Not just separating undead heads from their shoulders, but useable skills, such as MEDICINE, CARPENTRY, BOTANY, NAVIGATION, MECHANICS etc. A nurse, in my book, would be worth ten times more than a stockbroker or a store clerk.

That bieng said, I would ask the GROUP what they thought of him/her calling the shots and have a vote taken. Hopefully, the group would pick who could lead them best, whether myself or the "new guy/gal". I would go with the groups choice, PROVIDED my safety is not hindered by the new leaders decisions. If I feel this person could get me killed, believe me, I would take my things and go, hopefully without any problems. In any case, I would SURVIVE.

I look forward to reading other survivors analysis of this very important (and as quakingphear pointed out INEVITABLE
scenario.
Good luck survivors!

Thoth if the neighbors with the gun store are still there, then I'd try to ally myself with them. We could transfer the essential weapons from the store to the apartment when there weren't any looters. A good but really messed up way to keep the looters away from the shop, at least temporarily, would be to kill one and stake him outside as a warning. Like I said it's messed up, but it will buy time to move supplies and fortify the position. Also, try to make friends with the baker. You could start makking hard bread, or something with a long shelf life.

A really good idea would be to make friends with them before the outbreak, so you know that you can rely on them, and the gun shop owners will trust you enough not to shoot you on sight.

@thoth:
good scenario, but it has one thing, are you on the second floor or the first floor?

Assuming I am on the second floor, I would try to ally with the other mates of the second story, completely destroy the entrences to the second story. I would then make a very risky move, I would go to the maintenence room (whether it be 1st or 2nd floor) and I would get both a fire axe, and some rope (for an emergency exit). I would round up the peple of the 2nd floor. I would then question and examine them. If they were zombies, I'd decapitate them, then throw them of the building. I doubt that they will all be zombies if it is the middle of the outbreak. With the teamates I chose, I would then try to ransak the bakers place if he were a zombie. Or I would make freinds with him and evaluate him. To take care of other zombies. . .well, I'm guessing at least 88% of houshold items could be made into weapons. The gun store. . .I would stay away, and prefer to use the weapons I made, for the main reason that I can't kill a zombie with the war code, "one shot, one kill". I would then try to find more perishable/non-perishable foods. So long as the perishible foods haven't perished.

I think I would last for about a month.

Ok, here's a senario.

Your gruop is going to to a walmart, to get guns ammo and food and water. As you enter you hear gun shot, which means survivors that could ned help and could in the end help you. But, it could be dangerous to engage them right now becuse they are fighting zombies and might shot you before looking what they are shooting at. so, what do you do?

Well, if he tryed to take over I would ask the gruop sepretly with out him present what they thought. If they didn't want him leading, I would tell him that. If he tryed to cause problems I would kill him.

I wouldn't go to Wally World in the first place, for that exact reason. They have guns, ammo, food and supplies, and thats a great place to go. But think of how many people already had that idea? Probably a couple thousand people at least.

But if I did, and encountered other survivors, I'd wait it out. The group of survivors is probably looking out for them selves, and are probably dangerous. After the shooting stopped, I'd either go to check it out or send in a team of two, if I had more survivors with me. If I was alone, I might take my chances and sneak in. Or wait til they leave or get killed and scavenge.

Any one actually read that book? This guy named max brooks came out with the book "the zombie survival guide"...(makes you pretty paranoid) about how to survive a zombie attack. I would start stocking up with wood and supplies, and journey into the remote places of the wilderness. then build a safehouse. or i would steal a nuclear submarine, uv lights, and build a greenhouse in the submarine and live indefinetely underwater.

Yeah most of us have read or consulted it. Have you read World War Z? same author. It's the guide, but applied to a real scenario.
By the way don't say you'd get a nuclear sub if you really can't in real life. Try to be plausible. Unless you have access to one. Thats a different story.

@quakingphear: Absolutely right.

Anyone who wants to know the A to Z of zombies should read the books, "The Zombie Survival Guide" and "World War Z", by Max Brooks. They are very thorough at detailing what would happen during an outbreak of magnitude and what you should do about it.

As far as search, for supplies, survivors or what have you, there is really no reason NOT to search a location, within safe reasons. Residential households, grocery stores, gas stations, even CORPSES, may reveal something you never thought you needed.
Food, medicine and bullets would become EXTREMELY SCARCE. You have to look for them. However, be CAUTIOUS. You must never put yourself into danger that you cant get out of. Remember to use stealth, rather than agression. I know that goes against the grain for most of your imaginations, but put yourself in a class 4 scenario and I think the Rambo in you would be dribbling down your leg in no time.

Search everything, use your head and SURVIVE.

ps. I would really like to see some reactions to the scenarios posted. Be honest and think about them before you post. I will release a new scenario soon.

skater_kid_who_pwns, I would leave, for if it's a group of them they may not want an extra mouth to feed. In addition they might really like the stuff I have with me.
