This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
Wow, and here I thought we were such buddies, you felt comfortable talking dirty around me. Damn!
Hehehe...
Anyway, short of suggesting some good movies (including the recent, and mostly humorous Shawn of the Dead) the key to Zombies is (1) they are re-animated dead. (2) They have one overpowering urge, to feed. (3) They are all Id, with no ego, or super ego to give them an ability to plan. Imagine babies that can walk. They know how to eat, but not how to fix anything.
They can walk, but no running. They groan, so you can hear them coming, if you're not too loud. They are out day and night, dusk and dawn. One bite from any of them, and the bitten will turn into a zombie as well, even if it's your best friend. Or you.
And most importantly, as far as you are concerned, they rule the world...
Hey, Thoady? I'm in or not? Or is there anywathing else to do?
Have to say, I have some lousy tape, no duct tape. There is no fire axe, but a fire extinguisher, but those things are rather heavy, and heavy stuff are stupid to carry one, when yuo are trying to escape, so that would be a one/two time experience, before it gets too annoying to carry. Also, a spear is one of the worst weapons to use, if you have no training, because it leaves you rather open if you miss your target. The broomstick is easier to use, because everyone can use a club, and knives should only be used in emergencies, because actually doing damage to dead flesh is almost impossible in a desperate situation.
I think as I am from England I would head for the vast islands near Scotland, this I know would be a hard task as they are very far away from Warrington but as the zombies are slow I could just find a place high up and away from civilisation. It normally takes about 5 hours to get to Scotland so it would probably take a little less with the roads being less clogged up.
Well ud, I would imagine That if you could find a way tyo hock them up to a microwave, or some sort of heeter, you could use them to cook some food, and heat a small space. You could also get them to power high powered lights, whihc could come in handy.
I have always thought as the zombie disease as something that you get from contact, so in other words, something that one person gets and spreads it to another, than another, until it is completely uncontainable
for all of you who think you will die from a zombie pandemic, follow my plan,
location: a cabela's or scheels, or even a military base camp. anywhere that has plenty of food, guns and ammo, and things sturdy enough to barricade the doors with. but not churches or your home, we can't have people believing they will survive in their homes, there isn't enough food, guns or ammo to be able to wait a zombie uprising out.
what to have at your location: as said already: food, guns, ammo, and barricades. but this is not just all of what you need, you need many things to be able to pass your time to keep you from going insane, people to be around so you don't loose your morals, and even a laptop or a desktop computer to keep communications with other settlements. Traps around your entrances, and if you are fortifying a place with double doors, a hummer, to get out of your current location if it is overrun
things to remember: zombies are very impervious to damage, but severing the head or destroying the brain will kill them. if you are in a place that has 2 or more floors, put traps on the stairs to prevent them from getting up and a barricade at the top of the stairs to slow them down while you shoot them down (aim for the head) and one of the worst things you can do is kill somebody that you are with, it is bad for your mental state, and stay in your fortified location, hoping to exterminate the zombies is extremely stupid. and you don't want to leave for another reason, if they figure out people are in your fortified location, than you and your group are screwed over unless you outlast them, so in your location, don't make to much noise. or else they will figure out you are their, and won't stop until they get you
ok this souds fun my plan would be to go to the up (upper penisula) i live in michigan and near detroit so it would be a long walk but there are cars so im good for wepions my dad has a 9mm pistal and i have a co2 paint ball gun not that it would do much but at lest knock them back i would go to a gas station to get food or suplise and what ever wepions the store owner has for the store then go to my fams cabin in the up and baracad in the basemeent this is where me and my bro would meet if there is truoble and wait it out and i wouls use wood from trees to baracade and make wepones in needed thats my plan
Right now i live in kentucky... Not much of a place to be during a zombie outbreak, so we are going to assume that i live in California.
California:
1. Begin by finding survivors and food. (Better to do at first, as time passes, the count lowers) 2. Find weapons, whether it be at a gunstore or military base, and wait there until all arrive and are rested. 3. Find military base (if not in one) and then get rations/water, with pots and pans and canned food and medical supplies, along with plenty of gas. 4. After that, i will begin to get seacraft ready, (Boats, especially military, and multiterrain) 5. After we are all set and packed, we will set off to alcatraz island with all that we have 6. Upon reaching the island, we will scan it for any carriers or infected and rid them from the place, then look for survivors. (We may put captured infected in jail cells for testing and observation) 7. We will then set up all our supplies in the non criminal area and prepare the place, dusting and straitening up it up along with fixing what we can. 8. Every other day to a week there will be supply shifts, a group of workers and guards will go out on seacraft to the mainland to get food, water, wood, guns, and ammo along with any other needed supplies such as medical and gas. 9. There will be search parties that scan the shore every day to every other day. 10. Once every two weeks to a month there will be large raids to go through selected buildings to find people who have taken shelter there. 11. When we have a large enough group of people and supplies, we will head to the nearest air force base (note that we have frequently made runs to that place to find survivors) and assuming we have a pilot on hand, we will make way to the C5 (my brother is a pilot on that) fill it with all supplies, and make our way to Switzerland. 12. On our way, we will stop at dayton AFB and check for survivors (that is where my brother is stationed) 13. After picking up any survivors/needed supplies, we would then head to D.C. And look for survivors there. 14. When ready, we would make the long flight to Switzerland, find supplies/survivors then head to this one hotel (can't remember name). 15. Near this hotel (only a couple hundred feet from entrance) there is a large, iron door, 8 feet thick, this door is actually the place the presedent would go in real life, in case of nuclear warfare or a large crisis like that. In that door is a huge complex under a mountain with plenty of supplies and food, along with cameras, recorders, radios, and TVs, which all can be run on the Stored, normal, or backup generators for electricity. This is where we would wait things out for a while, before making any other plans. I can almost guarantee we would find survivors there. Please note that I am on my phone writing this, so please excuse my mistakes. Oh, by the way, I would like to join, just email me at Proe24@Gmail.com
Actually proe, you would much rather be in kentucky. As it is, there is a lesser population, and there are large amounts of farm land, and uninhabited areas. California has much more people. In kentucky, they are all spread out more, and you could live much easier. In a city, there would be as many zombies as there were people. Which would mean yo uwould die.
On a side note. The millitary would make an attempt to get all survivors some were, but you would be much better to not go with them. It may sound stupid, but if you are left behind by them you will most likely be shot, and killed. Living by your self, and or with one other perosn or a pet would be much easier. Yes, it would be boring, but your life is better then death. Now to annalyze your plan better.
You mention millitary bases, which would hurt you in the long run.
What you would want to do, is.....
Wait, rules stat plans must be made out of what you have, and were you live. It's the rel time. so your plan shall be ignored.
I'd head to the top of my house, and snipe off some zombies walking, and I'd take the sword my grandfather gave me, and I'd hew some zombies that were by themselves. He always told me to keep it sharp, so it'd cut through their head quite well.
Quick question if I may? Would a .22 shorts work for taking down a zombie? Or would I need a larger caliber rifle?
I like proe's idea of Alcatraz, with the lower populations of survivors, there might not be that many in your way there. Plus its a ready made fortress. With the doors the way they are, you could make choke points to trap, or whittle away at them. I'm thinking of shooting or hitting through the metal bars at checkpoints around the prison. Plus shutting off certain areas that have been overrun during an attack could mean, even in a big breach you can stay there. As for food, you just need to go to a Home Depot, and get a lot of soil to bring back, and live off canned goods till food grows. It rains a lot in San Fran, so water won't be a problem with rationing, and scavenging. Don't know about the bunker thing though. Trapped underground forever doesn't sound too good.
Yeah, I was thinking about that too when wrote it, it seams that Alcatraz would be better, but the Ability to broadcast over the TV could be help. But the likeliness obtaining a decent C5 pilot in a time like this is almost 0-None. And Alcatraz does seem easier and gives more options. So I will probably take that out. It would be a group decision if this actually happened. And I have never seen zombies swim...
Sorry for mistakes in above post, wish I could edit it, I probably should have wrote it on Microsoft Office Word 2007. All statistics are accurate (Number wise, not saying these are actual facts, but I am sure you already know there is a little over a hundred people in America as of now lol, try 303,824,540 more)
