durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

Yeah, it is pretty good, I am assuming the cabin is secluded, which would make it pretty good. Giving it a low amount of zombies who are around there, which can increase the chance for survival. And using your resources to make traps and weapons is also very nice. But I am not completely sure I have the right to let you in. (I am a member as you probably could see from page 193) But I am sure he will get back to you later tonight
jun 13 2009; i heared that there was some virus out that would kill you if you were in contact with it or its host.the thing is no one expedted this.jun 20 2009 its been a week that ive been in my house, 3 days ago the radio went silent and im low on food i only have a days worth of food and im so sad beacuase my bro phoned my that the rest of the fam was rescued and in london where there was no out break and every thing was fine. jun 21 2009 i had made my way to a gas station when i had enconterd a infected he was dead but still walking so i though about a zombie but i fooledmyself in beliving it wasent i snook arouned it and left. i still need to thank of more so ill get back too this.
I wonder: How much do a zombie register, when it walks about? When bitten, how long do they keep their mind? Is it untill the virus gets to the brain and begins the corruption? Untill then the victim would be able to think and react, having perfectly control over their body, right? Then the virus slowly corrupts the mind/the brains starts decaying, and they lose their mind? After that, the decay either slows down, or keeps raging, which would mean that they slowly loose their senses, would it not? The brain is soft tissue, and would decay rather fast; if the virus spread in a few minutes, and the victim looses their mind in half an hour, they would stay a zombie for - one-three days, before the brain is so damaged that there is nothing left to send the ever so important impulses, and the zombie would fall and decay to nothing? Even faster if the nerves is cut. Under this time, the victim slowly become more driven by hunger and generel needs, but as the decay ruins the brain, it will loose vision, sense of smell, sense of hearing, sense of touch, in a random order, untill the brain dies. This way, it is reletively easy to live through an outbreak, as long as you stay out of the infection zones. If the virus does not spread, the outbreak is through in a week or two.
Of course I have seen theories of a parasite replacing the brain, but that would mean rather intelligent zombies, able to sense danger. Even if the intelligence is as good as that of a predator, it would still be difficult to escape those zombies, or set traps for them, unless they are driven by deadly hunger. That way, you would need to keep safe untill the easiest victims have been eaten, which would take weeks, before you can lure them into traps.
So, how does the mechanism of the virus work? Is it like a regular virus that makes the body decay, and gives a unnatural hunger (that way spreading the disease), or something intelligent?
Okay, not sure if I am allowed, but that other question made me think. Just ignore this, if I have no rights to make viruses and the like, but I will take this as a thought experiment at least:
This virus is a mutant originating from rabies. The first infected was a woman, who was attacked by a pack of wild dogs, all infected with the agressive mutated virus. She later discribed them as looking insane, smelling badly, and seemingly wanting to rip her appart and eat her. She was taken to hospital badly injured, and treated for regular rabies. She seemed to recover, but after a week she began feeling dizzy. During the night she had a fever, but next morning she was fine once again, but very hungry. This hunger grew, and even though she ate, it "did not fill her stomach". As this unnatural hunger grew, the doctors tried to find the reason, without any luck. They locked her up, without feeding her more than a meal morning, noon and evening. After four days she began screaming and clawing at the walls and door, looking insane. Another day, and she collapsed on the floor. The doctors and nurses ran to her side, all thinking she was either dead or dying, but it was all make pretend. She bit a doctor and some nurses, then managed to escape from the section of the hospital. When they caught up with her, she was eating a new born. She was locked up again, and though she tried to trick them several times, she did not escape again. After a month, her body showed signs of decay, and after another month she died from heartfailure.
Sadly, this did not stop the disease, as the doctor and the nurses all carried it. They were all arrested for stealing groceries, assaulting and bitting people. Their families was arrested later, for the same crimes. And then the victims... And their victims...
----------------------- This virus spreads through contact with blood, saliva and other bodily fluids, if these gets into contact with the victims blood, or into the body any other way. It affects the brain, creating a drug which makes the victim uncontrallably hungry, while it slowly breaks the body down. The victims are conscious, and slowly becomes crazy as the hunger grows. Their intelligence decreases as the body decays, but untill they are driven seriously mad, they are able to use their mind while hunting. This can take between 2 and 5 weeks. Senses decreases as well, often the vision fails first, along with sense of touch, when the skin decays. The ability to move decreases as the muscles decay. A person with a great physic would be able to hunt down prey for as long as 8 weeks, before he or she would be too slow to run the prey up.

ok this continuse my jernal on pg 194 jun 30:2009 im on my way to the air port last i heard there was a evac there but when i got there there was no body, not even a infected.... it was all empty. i hered screaming help help...meeeeeee. i was scared but i fought my way through the darkness and fond her she was young about 8 or so and she was holding a pic. im gesing it was her mom becuase it was her and a lady she said that she woldent leave with out her. befor her mom became a infected so told her daghter to lock her in a closet the little girl stayed there when some men in mask came and took all the infected in a plan. july 1st 2009 i was tired i need rest but nowhere too sleep i was careing jess on my back she told me her name i told her a fake name,i dont know why but she was calling me jake. we fond a borded up house that no one was in we sleep there to the nose of zombies moning but when i woke up jess was not there. ill geve you the rest later but what do you thank toad?
