This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
Two survivors. Wow, that's a tough choice. The girl is good, if there is any plan to continue the species. The forest ranger has some good skills. But I think I have to go with Ralph (Twinkies aren't great nutrition, but guaranteed food for life is too powerful a lure), and Austin (The trust issue is big for me, but I also know myself well enough to know I couldn't desert a friend. Plus running is a great skill, in a world full of zombies.)
Destination - I think I would go for the smaller town. I would have to hope that the radio tower might eventually help us get help. (Remember, my in-scenario persona doesn't know there isn't going to be any rescue) I would also hope that the electronics store might have some useful things, like generators (until the gas runs out) and maybe those hand-crank generators, and some solar panels.
I am assuming the reason we are leaving is because the hoards are headed to where we are now, so hopefully we would be safe for awhile.
My goal would be to design a place safe from zombies, rather then barricades, as they would eventually fail. If there is a small maintenance shack part way up the radio tower, that would obviously be the best, if not, I would try to think of some way to make use of the bank vault, but I would have to be able to see it, to make more detailed plans.
Ok, the journal is nice and all, but just make a quick plan from right now were yo uwould go. Lets say if a bulliten was poested every were o nte web warning of a zombie attack. Were would you go what you you take ect. Journals are nice, but not what we were looking for.
I just gotta keep this somewhere so I don't forget about it: Rules of the fail game! 1. You must try your hardest not to fail, fails can also be accidental, I.E. mispelling, falling, slipping, eating some bad food, and overall acting like a dork or just...well, failing. 2. You also must try to "win" as much as possible, which is exceeding the amount of the normal effort, I.E, making something epic, epic suggestion, or even a fail so epic it turns into a win (I.E. crashing your car into the top part of a tree) 3. A fail subtracts 1 win from you, which can also go negative. 4. A win is the points, you get 1 win for every win you do. 5. You can fail in a video game, or even a forum game, for not understanding something that is pretty simple, or falling of a ledge in a game that was easily avoidable. 6. Fails are everywhere, so beware. 7. There has to be a time setting for the "fail" game, it can be any time you want, even a year. 8. Counterfails are when you do something to win your fail, such as when you mispell something, then correct it before another person says that you fail. 9. If your opponent manages to Counterfail your counterfail, you get a double fail, of which is just 2 fails in 1. 10. You cannot force another person into a fail, otherwise, the fail does not count (I.E. tripping someone, that would not be a fail, and would not be a win either)
It's the rule set for a game I like to play with my friend, I made it.
On topic, Ceder, please don't link anything that is not relevant to my virus. Please look for the rules on page 144.
alrighty then, lets try this, another journal but more..... strategic
Okay, im all packed and ready to move out, it seems there are survivors to the north, i see a trail a smoke in the air, i had best follow that trail and try to find some civilization, i had better find a vehicle and stay on the road, if i trail off to much i may get attacked, the week it self is longer then they usually wait to come back. If i dont make it to that town to the north, i would rather died by my own hands, those things arent going to eat me alive, since i have packed enough food for a week, and i have enough ammo to blast a hole through 50, maybe 100 zombies, im ready to leave, lets just hope the raod is clear from here to there.....
Oh mud I bet you've jsut been DIEING to say something to that efect, huh? lol. -- I just gotta keep this somewhere so I don't forget about it: Rules of the fail game! 1. Mud, you did a nice job. Personally I wouldn't have thought to take the fast kid, becuse no matter how fast he is, i'm still slow. lol
I would have personally chosen Andy, and....Ralph. If i could get fat on twinkies, hell I would go for it!
It would keep you alive at any rate. lol
Dacer, please stop with the journals. We don't want those here. Just make a plan, I can find an example of one for you if you need me to. Also, car's will not work for you man, every onew ill be trying to escape somehow, nd they get in there cars, and flood the roads, zombies find them, and kill them in there cars, then the entire road is blocked. And don't EVER put finding other survivors i nyour plan. Do you know how few there will be? only a few hundred max!
Thoad, that was just kinda funny. I didn't fully understand it...but allright.
alright lemme think this over, kk. since the zombie havent attacked me for a week, im going to get what ever suplies i can find at the abandoned grocery store, pack them up and look for another weapon, il take my .50 magnum withh me, but it only have 50 ammo left, i hope thats enough to make it to the town, since the main roads are blocked, im going to have to stick to the paths, but if i go to close to the lakes, or plains, i might get attacked, zombies seem to travel is groups when their out in the open, so il have to be carful, i guess for transportation il take my bike, just runs on old fashion leg-work since i have enough supplies in my back pack to survive about a week, im sure i can make it to another town if i bike there. il follow the smoke i see to the south, and im not comming back to my town no matter bwhat i run into. if im attacked, i would rather try to get away then fight, i would rather save ammo then waste it on killing 40 or 60 zombies.
Thank you Puddle! (Can I call you that? Or is it Mud?)

A little hard to understand at first, big wall of text, but let me try.
Wait, the think you just sloved your own sceanario....
Try, leaving some things for the reader to solve, like the roads being blocked would have been a real "nasty" idea.
