This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
If there is a zombie invasion first things first. if you are lucky enough to have a gun use it!
Yes.
if you are lucky enough to have a gun use it! If not chances are the best wepan you will have is a big knife.
No, go with a crowbar or similar weapon.
So first your going to want to find a decent wepan so i would suggest going to a gun store getting enough ammunition and a decent wepan.
Once again, no. Hold off on gun stores for a while because someone will have beaten you there and they'll probably shoot you.
Next thing you would want to do is get some decent supplies preferably enough to last a month or two.
I guess so. Don't weigh yourself down though. Especially if you're going by foot of bike, 2 months worth of canned food is a lot.
then secure your home board the windows leaving only small cracks make sure theres a hidden exit and destroy or barricade any stairs or ramps that may be leading to doors or near windows.
Yes but no. Good barrication ideas, bad location.
And then if you want eliminate some of the pests make some noise and soon enough they will come limping up then kill them with your wepan.
I see no reason you'd want to let them live.
And when you feel like you have got the skills and supplies maybe search for survivors.
Meh. Exploring isn't recommended.
Chance of survival for they day. Good for the night. Decent For the week. High For the month. ok for the year. decent
...What? That makes no sense whatsoever. Even if it was pertinent I don't see how you only have a decent chance of surviving the night, yet a high chance of surviving the week. Also, you have a decent chance of surviving the year. It doesn't add up. Also, none of this is actually a plan, so you're not any closer to joining the club, if that's what you want (I'm assuming it is).
One last point, WEAPON not WEPAN! My god, that drove me crazy.
When I hear of some massive 'outbreak' I would collect as many cans as I can get, grab some form of weapon (my bat and barbed wire), and head down to the fitness gym. Where there is heavy equipment to barricade doors and (for some strange reason) metal that comes down over the windows. There I can keep fit, have a constant supply of water, and heat... because they have a generator. Food may be a problem, but two gas stations, a store, and a pharmacy are close by. Mind you, all of these are within walking distance. -1) I would use traps -2) I would get a bike and use that to get around (old plan, slightly revised)
PS: I miss the old grading system! - Tell them what you think of it - Give them their chances of surviving the day, night, week, month, and year.
Armor, I grade you! *nods head and crosses chopsticks*
The only problem with that is that you'd have to clear out the fitness gym (which would be filled with fitness-freak zombies) while carrying all the stuff over there - and being weighted down by barbed wire and cans while trying to fight off zombies isn't good for your survival chances. So you may have imagined it differently, but specification would be great.
Other than that, it seems like a sound plan. Also, how big is this town you're surviving in? And how big is the fitness gym?
For the Day: Mid-low
For the Night: High (if you survive the day)
Week: Quite good (if you survive the day)
Month: Good (if you survive the day)
Year: Okay (if you survive the day)
Indefinitely: Mid-low (depending on if you clear out the town, find ways to sustain food, etc.)
The gym is about about 200 feet in length and 100 feet in width. It closes relatively early during the week so I highly doubt many zombies (if any at all) will be there. As for the equipment, my mom uses to work there and she still has the key (not for the doors but that little tool that disassembles them). I could take them apart and lug the heavy peices to make a barricade. As for where I live, I live in New Milford, CT. I live in town and the gym is called New Milford Fitness Gym. It is a 10 minute walk from my house while CVS in across the street. Not to mention the many stores/pharmacies spread throughout the town. I could head over to CVS and get a cart or too :P. So many problems are easily avoided and it would be very easy to survive.
all i would need is a shotgun with a shitload of bullets, a baseball bat to beat their heads in, a fat assistant so that i can run faster than him if the zombies are chasing me and a bunch of twinkies.
You said the gym has plenty of iron gates and the like correct? And if the palce is closed those would all be in use. So how do you suppose your gonna get in while keeping those safty features in tack for your later use?
For my survival stratagy. My house is pretty big so barricading the whole house alone would be foolish. Also i live in a realitivly small town so there won't be that many zombies. This is of course assuming my sister and parents, relatives are all dead. First I would move all of the food and neccesities to the secound floor. I would probobaly grab the ladder that i use to change the living room lights and bring it up to the secound floor. Then I would try to break the collapse stairs leading from the first to secound floor. we have plenty of seeds so i could probabaly make a mini garden on the secound floor. for water I could have a large basin to collect water then run it through one of those britanica filters or when those run out boil it. My house/neihborhood is next to a forrest so i may be able to tie a rope bettween a tree in the forest and my house so I could travel back and forth to gather things like wood. For weapons my dad owns a rifle and two compound bows. The bow i'm proficiant in using. Also for malee weapons we have a hatchet, crow bar, and other things you'd find in a shed, exept its in the garage. We also have alot and i mean alot of books for me to read if i get bored which i definetly will.
Also i live in a realitivly small town so there won't be that many zombies. This is of course assuming my sister and parents, relatives are all dead.
Assume your immediate family are zombies, and are in the house. This isn't "Best Case Scenario" survival.
Several things, staying at home is ill-advised, you probably have little more than a few weeks worth of food at home, you will have limited ammo, destroying the staircase (while tactical) makes it hard for you to get out without risk of injury, and hatchets are basically useless. One more point on the staircase, since you're in a "big" house, you most likely have vaulted ceilings, if you couldn't tell, that's bad for you. Crowbar is really the only plus to your plan.
To be one of the first to make it first rate in a zombie apocalypse, is to watch the news. As soon as you start to hear weird news about people being dead, and then being alive or something causing them to be ferocious, look into it. Then when you are for certain that they are zombies, then you head out. Of course around this time there hasn't been an outbreak yet. So first place to go to is Costco. BUT before you take that place for yours, head to a weapon shop. Then bust in and take as much as you can. Run to that Costco and stake outside if it. Then when you hear news of an outbreak, break in during the night and close up every door so no one can get it.
Then when you are for certain that they are zombies
how r u directly going to no there zombies?
So first place to go to is Costco
and so if theres guards? not everywhere has a costco
before you take that place for yours, head to a weapon shop
o cuz ur just going to be completely prepared and no where the closest gun shop is.and of course assuming you wont get attacked and some1 hasnt already cleared it out.
Run to that Costco and stake outside if it.
no one else will already be in it? no one will notice you sitting there with a bunch of guns? you can run that far with an entire shop full o weapons ASSUMING NOT LOOTED ALREADY. no one will try to take your guns or like that....
Then when you hear news of an outbreak, break in during the night and close up every door so no one can get it
o so now u can run around to every exit WITH A SHOP O WEAPONS ON UR BACK and close all the doors before anyone can get in, and assuming theres already no one in there?
Then when you hear news of an outbreak
how r u gonna hear in time in order to b able to rush in a store guns loaded n close all the doors in time?
You're not going to know FOR SURE. It's called common sense. Try it some time. Also, way to butcher my language.
and so if theres guards? not everywhere has a costco
I doubt it. And is there is, they have better things to do than yell at a guy in the parking lot. Lots of places do, and they obviously do where he is.
no one else will already be in it? no one will notice you sitting there with a bunch of guns? you can run that far with an entire shop full o weapons ASSUMING NOT LOOTED ALREADY. no one will try to take your guns or like that....
Of course they will, who cares? It's called a blanket. Wat? Um... no?
o so now u can run around to every exit WITH A SHOP O WEAPONS ON UR BACK and close all the doors before anyone can get in, and assuming theres already no one in there?
Why would you carry everything on your back? Maybe, maybe not. You have all the guns, remember? It's night, so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there's no one there.
how r u gonna hear in time in order to b able to rush in a store guns loaded n close all the doors in time?
Okay, you're in the parking lot in your car. You hear the news of an outbreak on the radio. You take your couple of guns (no, you won't have an entire store as you seem to believe) and go inside. You break in (probably through the loading bay, it might be a little tricky). Presto, doors are already locked.
In summary, while the original planned was slightly flawed, your response to it was horrible. I'm hoping that you aren't in the club because, as far as I'm concerned, you have no idea what to do. Also, if you would be so kind as to make your post legible I would gladly ridicule the parts I didn't understand.
Firstly, I don't have any good weapons except for a Katana on the ceiling, firstly I'd get a bag and pack as much food and water as i can carry. Then i would take my grandpa's bike and ride on it, Also i don't know my town that much since i rarely go outside but i do know some nearby stores. I would then go to said stores and check the place for any weapons and also food and water, then i would just go around at random solely because of the fact that i am cooped up in the house all day. I also remember a Pawn Shop that's about a good 10 minutes away so firstly i would go there and loot the place for any weapons like a crowbar, bat, axe, anything that can crack the skulls of the undead and probably a pair of binoculars. Then I'd look for survivors, another survivor is like another gun, if he/she is trustworthy they could get you out of the tightest situations. I would then find a nice fortified place like a school and try to survive as long as possible.
