This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
look, it doesnt matter how much you put in it, 1 miniscule drop is enough to turn you into a zombie... unless your a scientist in a controlled lab. there is no way you can do anything to the virus.
So basically your saying that a single drop of poison, no matter how small, would always kill you 100% of the time? You know how people build up immunities to poison, right? They administer a small amount of poison to themselves. Small enough that it doesn't really have any effects, but it's still exposing the antibodies and such to it, letting them create a way to counter it. Same principle here. Except it's a virus, which is actually more likely to be able to build an immunity too. It's not really altering it at all, just applying it to yourself. Think of it like cooking. If you add a single drop of vinegar to your batch of cookies, you won't be able to taste the vinegar at all. Also, it's not like you turn into a zombie right after you get infected. It takes awhile for the virus to spread, and sometimes it will really only activate AFTER death.
And how would it be any different if your a scientist in a lab (getting-infected wise)? O.o

He means the only way you could alter it so that it doesn't infect you is if you're a scientist in a lab.

It's my understanding that if you get bitten, and thus infected, you turn into a zombie. So it'll take effect even BEFORE death. In a sense, it'll kill you, and bring you back. And yes, it takes a while for the virus to circulate.
Overall, I think it's not a good idea. You don't know how potent this virus is, so it could easily overrun your body with just a small amount. If it NEEDS a lot to infect you, then your theory might or might not work. You'll never know till you try it.
I thought the zombification virus worked the best if the host was completely dead. The nervous system and stuff would be more damaged making it easier to take over and easier to ignore pain. Also, it means that the host can't die again. If it were to infect a living person it would first have to spread throughout the whole body, then concentrate on the nervous system because they are still conscious/thinking. I suppose this would have advantages though, as the muscles would be in better condition, but if the virus itself doesn't kill, just control, if the host dies it's over. So would the virus itself not only come with an infect mode, but a kill mode as well?
And yeah, the plan is pretty risky. It could require only a little amount to spread like crazy (it's a parasitic virus after all), or the plan could completely backfire and get me the disadvantages for both: mindless and mortality. But, hey, the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward!

Virus doesn't work on dead hosts.
Also, redarding the immunity, it wont work. You'll just turn into a zombie. Your only chance is to find someone who is immune and then inject their blood into yours.

NOt exactly. Its a small parasite that attaches its self to the hosts brain. AS soon sa it does it shuts down all function. Then takes over movment of the body. The parastie has its own resperatory system, so the only way to get rid of the zombie is to get rid of that.
So injectioning your self with saliva, not gonna work. That injects part of the aprasite into you...killing you.

Even so, it would have to travel through the circulatory system to get to the brain, wouldn't it? I mean, if they like bit near your aorta/Jugular vein (Not quite sure which goes to the brain o-o) It wouldn't take as long, but still.
There are a few things I'd like to point out: 1. shots ARE the virus, injected into you. 2. if they havent made a stable vaccine yet, then you probably shouldn't inject yourself. 3. whether its a parasite or not, the virus WILL find other means of transportation to the brain. viruses infect cells other than blood cells, ya know. 4.i'm making a zombie video game.
So in short: You could try to immunize yourself but you would probably die (alot quicker than you think). You'd be a brain-eating monster while i'm sitting on my very large pile of cash. Ciao bellas/bellos!

this is why your a bumbling idiot. Virus compared to poison... not possible. poison doesnt replicate itself to spread, virus's do. Poison is not a living organism, A virus/parasite is. Also, if the virus is spread by biting/any zombie material entering your body. then injecting yourself is just like being bitten.
Poison is not a living organism, A virus/parasite is.
Technically, a virus is a self-replicating non-living... thing. i don't know why, but if you want to know for yourself, read middle-school science text-book. A parasite is a living organism. By definition: parasites are living things that feed off of other living things' essential fluids.
A virus is considerd a parasite. Soo, Touche. either way. poison inters the body in a limitted amount and may sprad, but the volume stays the same. A parasite/virus continues to reproduce and eventually takes over/kills the host.
it acts as a parasite, but it is considered non living.
Thank you. now, i am surprised that none of you have asked or make a comment about my video game. its an ingenious, billion-dollar idea. Can at least one of you ask some kind of question?
it acts as a parasite, but it is considered non living.
EITHER WAY. it doesnt affect my comparison to poison. i was just trying to clarify that you can simply inject yourself with small amounts of the virus to become immune
Are you guys purposely ignoring me, or do you have me blocked in some way? well, anyway, so i dont think there are ways to vaccinate yourself against parasites, so if your gonna inject yourself with a parasite, you just as well put a gun to your head and pull the trigger, because you cant be immune to parasites. If it is a virus, then you would still need some other stuff to put into the injection to make it stable. who knows what that stuff is. so basically, any way you look at it, your committing suicide.
