This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.
run/walk: they walk
scream/groan: they groan
day/night: All da time babey!
what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!
survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH
guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.
cure: there is none.
where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.
how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME
family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too. able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.
durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.
doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!
li wanna join and skater_kid_who_pwns i think that bringing knives and swords would be stupid, cause throwing knives will make ur chances of missing huge, and melee the zombies will make u die after 10 seconds, i dont think these zombies care if they lose an arm, they would rip u in pieces fast and even if u kill most of em, well they will kill u at last cause u will be exhausted at last. dead meat.
If you were refering to my first plan, yes. i did mentio nthose. Though i have now learned they are an awfull thing to carry, other then backup weapons. As for mele, do NOT be afraid of it, as in most places, it would be better then spraying lead.
The_One, you fail for one reason. The millatary complex will not have guns you are able to use. i will not accept that plan.
Woops, sorry for that bove post being there twice, but i posted, then thought of sometihng to say. Chances are millitary persoanel are not going to be your best choice. They will round large groups of people together, meaning....well that would be bad. If one was infected, quickly there would be two, then 4, then 10. You would all be wiped out even faster. your better bet is to possibly find one or two millitary men, or just average joes. They will be of more help. From there, counry sides my friend. I would suggest kansas as an ideal location. for one, there are large sections with enough farming material that you could live from that food alone for some time. And another thing. There will be plenty of axes, siths, and other materials in a barn, as well as some animals, that if keeped alive will come in handy. You would have some guns, as all farmers have at least one. You would be fairly seperated from zombies, and people. And all barns have lofts, hich means you can sleep up there with out haveing to worry about being NOMED i nyour sleep. There will be tractors, and possibly quads which would help you travel over land without roads. And they have bett gas mialege, and can pull better.
Dat's about the best plan I can come up with. Hope it helps. Just don't copy or i will pwn you while you sleep.
I don't see why everyone is freaking about melee weapons. Its simple, a machete or the humble crowbar will do you fine. And if not those even a hammer could work, though I don't recommend it. It takes a little practice, but as long as they don't take a chunk out of you, and you don't rush into a crowd you'll do fine.
And yes quack, we were just sortof dissuces diffrent oppions i think.
We should... I personally like the crowbar.. It can be used for several things, like if you where in a corridor, and the door at the end was locked... Oh look, a horde of Zombies... you don't have time to open your pack with your crowbar in it... Oh look, your holding it!!!!!

I think melee is no option. It's a short term solution when you don't have any firearms yet. The small ones force you to come too close, the big ones are too heavy and if it's practical uses are the reason to carry one I think 9 out of 10 times there's a fine replacement to be found.
well skater i dont live near kansas lol, u suggest i take a plane to america and take the train to kansas? well another plan i have, well i will maybe take a car to Geilo in norway up in the mountians, then take snowscooter to Finse 1222 hotel and barricade me there with lots of food.
Crowbars win my vote as well. They can easily cruch a skull, and allso have many other perpases. They are not heavy either. They allso come in diffrent models, such as a one or two handed one. Carrying one of each would be very handy.

@The_0ne. Well.....no I wouldn't suggest that. I was just more pointing out the counrty asspect of things. mountains, YES! But cars, probably not. If you can find a bike, or quad...even a tractor will work. As dfor the hotel, juding that it is a hotel will have large numbers of people, and meaning....lots of zombies that might still be i nthere.

heh, your attempt at being theatrical made you fail. Lol. did you konw taht you can raed tihs? No really though, I Agree, they follow by scent and by hearing, so if you pop a shot, their all gonna come groaning and monstrous.
That's possible, but does'nt a blunt bash sound of a crowbar make quite some noise too?
Yes, it does make a sound, but it's not going to attract the attention of Zeds (Zombie sang for "Zombie" from three blocks down. A crowbar is a melee weapon, therefor in it's own, it is not making any sound at all. While other melee weapons such as a chainsaw will make LOT's of sound.
(PS I'll write my way into the thread after I eat)
(PPS: You never know, Zeds might have a lot better hearing then us humans, that way they could find pray a lot faster.)
