This is a completely serious club, people who make a decent enough plan will be able to comment and review other plans. Here is some zombie info.

run/walk: they walk

scream/groan: they groan

day/night: All da time babey!

what they attack: EVERYTHING THEY HEAR, OR THAT MOVES!

survivors: very very little, like near 100-1000 people on EARTH

guns: This is real time, being your neighboorhood and everything, you have all the resources you have in your house.

cure: there is none.

where to go: so long as you have a plan to get their, go for it.

how much you can carry: AGAIN, THIS IS REAL TIME

family members: theres a high chance they are zombehs too.
able to join: if you didn't read, just make a good plan.

durability: they can take ALOT of damage, worse than playing last stand 2 with just a pistol for the entire game when the zombies have twice as much life.

doors: they can't work a doorhandle for the mostpart of their brain is already rotted
I am still making my plan right now, but I think some of you can do it. Let the zombie surviving begin!

Okey.

My plan is fairly simple, yet extremely complex. (My plan involves the very first zombie in the OP)

I would start with nothing at all, and in Phoenix, AZ, as I know it best. I would begin by making my way to Baseline Rd., which is a major thoroughfare though Phoenix. This would be fairly easy, and I would make myself to a Wal-Mart, in an attempt to aquire some weapons and/or guns, and if necessary make a stand. I wouldn't have more than a kitchen knife to protect me along the way, and I would pick up any survivors along the way. While I know they are extremely durable, I can easily outrun them, and only if necessary slice them. When I finish up with Wal-Mart, I would attempt to hotwire a car and go to a Costco, to make a stand. I would destroy everything in my path 'til I get there, and once there, barricade it until there is no way in, or out, unless it takes a massive beating. Within Costco I would have endless amounts of food, and towers I could use in case they ever got in. I would always have one bullet and a small gun in my pocket, or if I don't have a gun, a knife. If they ever got in and I knew it was hopeless, I would kill myself so as that I don't get eaten and turned into one, and be a danger to someone else.

Good?

Bookmarked as somethign that needs to be improved upon #1
I would attempt to hotwire a car

#2...

Now besides those two things (which I will explain on how to fix right now), I see no problem. Of course it could be improved with some healthy suggestions just to make it a b or an A (even).

#1: Going to a superstore like that is a bad idea, even in a lowly populated area. In most wal-marts I see, they run the news on a few of their TVs, and when zombies come on, everyone in the store is going to run either out, to the guns, or to the supplies.

#2: Cars are a nono, if you're going to hot wire something, I'd suggest a motorcycle.

Hm... My plan would be this...

I would have a .45 Magnum (I have one in real life, and around 2 boxes of live ammo, so I am good for a bit), and a back pack filled with water, food, and first aid. I would be in Bakersfield, CA, then I would, first of all, head towards the Plaza, and I would go to the parking lot, and find a Motorcycle/car, and attempt to hotwire (never done it, but I have seen a lot of videos on how to do it). If it worked, then yay! I would then head out of town, and head to Edwards airbase, and ask for refuge there, if I was given none, I would then head to a gas station, and re-fill my car/motorcycle, and head towards Salem, Oregon, where I have some rather 'tough' relatives, who would probably survive a zombie attack (The bastards have a fallout shelter, so might as well go where there is protection.).

Now if I couldn't get the hotwiring to work, I would instead try to hoof as far as my legs could take me, and head as FAR away from civilization as possible, but in a place not too far out, where I can still watch roads, and see if a military vehicle passes by.

Soulhack, it's a decent plan but there's still quite a bit that can be improved upon.
First of which is a destination. Mine is the bottom of the grand canyon. It's possible to live there, there's water, and there's food. You seem to want to stay inside the city. Plus, with a large city like Bakersfield, I would recommend making your own fallout shelter via abandoned bank vault.

Also, try and avoid cars as much as possible.

All and all, it's about as good as TSL, but more polished. I give it a D+

Keep at it you two! You could make fine additions.

LOL THAT'S AWESOME.
But seriously, just follow the guidelines I suggested to you and you'll be fine. Same goes for TSL.

Why do you feel compelled to stab me with a knife that probably gets off when you grab it?

you just said why...

I would have a .45 Magnum (I have one in real life, and around 2 boxes of live ammo, so I am good for a bit), and a back pack filled with water, food, and first aid. I would be in Bakersfield, CA, then I would, first of all, head towards Stockdale Tower, along the way, I would try and get 5 people whom I actually think could help me survive, if they are still alive. One would be Sasha, she is a country girl, and she knocked the crap outta my friend Jake, who was a boxer, with one punch, she is also an excellent shot with a magnum.. Two, would be Kelly, she is really fast, and is a better shot then me (she hunted with her dad a lot). Three, my friend Jake, while he has no real marksmanship, he can hit pretty hard, and if I can stop a zombie, he can finish it. Four, would be my Girlfriend Sarah, she is really good at running, and she would be good for getting food with, because she has this huge ass backpack in her room. Five, would be this old guy, who everyone calls 'Hitman' because he was a spec ops in WWII, and from what he says, he is one dude armed to the freaking teeth.

After getting them all together, I would head to stockdale tower, and barricade us there, where we would stay for as long as possible, while waiting for a Military Heli, or a Military ground patrol to come by. If we ever got low on food, I would go out solo, and get as much as possible, and head back.

Not necessarily. Chances are that they would have shut it down long before, and the zombies probably wouldn't shatter through the glass like a person would. It's not that hard to grab a gun in and out either. If they walk, I run. I know where the guns are.

If not, replace all Wal-Mart's with Academy Sports & Outdoors.

*coughwhycough*?

During a breakout people will most likely try to escape using their cars, which means the roads will be blocked for any bigger vehicle.
Using something like a motorcycle will get you around easier and it will be a lot easier to store gas for a smaller vehicle than a car.

I guess you could sign me up but one question... what does this club accomplish or do?

About as much as any other thread in this tavern,
a place to discuss and relate to one another, share ideas, and see which is best.
The Zombie Survival Club is also a way you can test your literacy and grammar skills.

and TSL, though I don't like it because you want to "make a stand", which I can only assume bunker up and go all out like with "The Final Stand" or w/e game that was. Otherwise I think it's fine.
