Free will would be just doing things out of no where. Thats why I say, there is a reason behind everything you do, except for those which are determined by luck.
Free will means you have the choice to do what you want. Say i was being controlled by a person who hates apples. Say i love apples. I would not be able to eat apples because the person controlling me hates them. Now if he was not controlling me, i have free will because i can make that choice, and eat the apples

In a sense you do have free will because you are the one to control yourself.
My theory establishes that you have two different "brains". One which we call mind, where we notice the things that are going around us and where we can talk to ourselves. This is just the "viewer". Whatever our brains do is unconscious and we are only able to view what it gives us.
We were given the gift of thinking. How many creatures can think on a scale near us. He gave us this and free will followed. We lived for ourselves more than for survival. I consider this free (from burdens) will.
