The classic argument over which came first.I wanted to bring this up, because I was thinking a little bit and realized something. Why do scientist believe that the egg came first, if it had no mother to lay it, then keep it warm, and also after the eggs hatched they would have no way of surviving on their own without a parent to take care of them.So why do some scientist think this way when it is common sense that the chicken came first.I want to here your opinions on this matter.

The egg definitely came first because dinosaurs were laying eggs long before chickens even existed.

The chicken.

Because to the lay the very first egg ever, there had to be a chicken.

From a literal point of view this question is unsolvable as you cannot have a chicken without an egg being hached and you cannot have an egg without a chicken laying it. It is a good conundrum. From a scientific point of view i agree with Estel in that it has creationism vs evoloutionism undertones. To the rest of the people trying to solve it in this thread. I say it is a classic unsolvable conundrum thingy and you shouldnt worry too much about it.

Real answer: The Chicken. It came as a product of an animal that evolved.

Science aside, my ususal sarcastic answer would be...

the Egg, but the Elephant sat on it to keep it warm

@MasterChef117- Why couldn't God have created an egg in the beginning and had chickens hatch from it, or simultaneously create chickens and eggs?

I however believe that the egg came first as evidenced by evolution, but Snizz19 might be on to something.

You cannot tell how God things, or even what God is. Nope, not even a slight understand of him.

It is kind of like a time paradox.

Without the egg, the chicken could not get there, but without the chicken, the egg could not get there.

So it is just a circle argument.
