Great idea, it might reduce the stupid threads. You get +10 AP.

i dunno bout that...seems wierd cause wat if sumbody wanted to post a new idea...they lose AP for putting up a new idea!?

They lose AP if it's a dumb idea or if it's already been suggested, excluding new members.

Huh, it sounds actually alright, when you think about it. Like, you lose 5, but if it's an actual good topic, then you gain more than you lose, am I right?

They lose AP when it's posted but if its a fresh idea that is not a repeat or really stupid they get the AP back plus more. They would make more than 1 AP for good threads which is incentive to make it good and lose AP for really bad repeats or something, another incentive to do your research.

It could get really complicated, and might cause inactivity in the S&S forum.

i dont really like that idea because yeah what if someone has a new idea and they are going to lose ap for it???????

but if they kno they make suky threads then they will lose a lot of AP and may jsut leave

I don't like this idea. This would also reduce the GOOD ideas. Many people would think it wouldn't be good enough, and not post there idea.

So I was thinking that when you post a subject here.. you get a certain amount of minus AP. Instead of gaining 1 AP lose 1 to 5 or something. I know how crazy people are about AP so it would reduce the stupid threads. ALSO: if the post becomes popular for good reasons and it's a thought out thread than said user can gain some AP (ex: if a thread is -5 AP they would get +10 ap for a really good thread). But for duplicates and such(excluding newbs) mods would not reward them anything hence they lose AP and causes them to think over dumb and short topics in here.

oh yea and sumtimes a pereson want to try to bring bak an old but good thread
