So I was thinking that when you post a subject here.. you get a certain amount of minus AP. Instead of gaining 1 AP lose 1 to 5 or something. I know how crazy people are about AP so it would reduce the stupid threads. ALSO: if the post becomes popular for good reasons and it's a thought out thread than said user can gain some AP (ex: if a thread is -5 AP they would get +10 ap for a really good thread). But for duplicates and such(excluding newbs) mods would not reward them anything hence they lose AP and causes them to think over dumb and short topics in here.
I don't like this idea. There really is no way to classify a "dumb idea", and it would be unfair to the person that posts the thread, because they may think it is a great idea, but everyone else might not like it, so the creator loses AP for being creative.
