lol lucky you angel my so called "computer tech" class teaches nothing about comps but it does teach you how to type letters..that and my teachers a %^*&%^$#^@! so those 2 together make for a very very fun day...but otherwise i have an online Latin coarse which you can get way ahead on so i just play unreal tournament 2000 of my usb when the supervisors not looking
and to razzmonk the point of kindergarten is to be there so the teachers can tell the upper grades how much more well behaved kindergartners are and kindergarten teaches you how to take a nap
The school system is great where I live. We have a full track, two gyms, an Olympic swimming pool, 5 football fields (used for Football, Soccer, Lacrosse, and other stuff), a full library, and an 85% graduation rate. No, it is not a private school, it is a public school.
Alright kiddies gather 'round lemme teach you something. You want to know reasons why school is so important? Here's a choice few:
-To make a living
-To have that living to raise a family
-To move away into a great community and stay away from the slums and smelly places.
-To actually AFFORD all the stuff you are taking for granted.
It's way too simple guys. I can't believe I'm actually explaining this to you, you teens should already know why you need to know school. You NEED school. You need school because that golden scroll bathing in a light called a DIPLOMA. If any one of you want this, you best do what you are meaning to do and WORK! This ain't preschool, those teachers aren't going to help you while burping you and change your diaper while you ask them for a pencil and paper. You need to ask them to help you if you don't get any of whatever you're stuck on.
Another thing. What ELSE is school important for? It's ENDURANCE. Endurance for College, because you know what? What you guys think is hard in Middle School or High School ain't jack diddly compared to what's ahead. You don't know what I'm talking about, try me. I'm in college right now, and it ain't no Peanut-Butter-and-Jelly Picnic. You get swamped with work. If you're lucky, you might get 4 quizzes and tests a week.
And the last year in college, right before you get out with that degree (if you're ACTUALLY going to get one), you get a nice, awesome present called a THESIS. A nice, long essay thats 50x longer than any essay you've ever written in your schooling career. After you get finished with this, THEN you get your degree, THEN you go on in the real world with your life.
ALL THIS you need to prepare for while in High School and Middle School. Work your butt off, work like you never worked before, because its all in preparation for reaching that university. But hey. You want to live in a smelly apartment in the slums surrounded by your fellow hobos, that's up to you.
Its all what you want to do, but right now, I'm in year 2 of my 10 years of college life. I have a job, have a wife, and I'm breathing fresh air called LIFE. By the way, you think your parents are going to help you with any of this if you fail high school, drop out of high school, or plan on not going to college? That shows that you really are taking things for granted. Story time's over.
Well said! I'm looking forward to 8-10 yrs of college too... That's the cost of being a doctor. I love school, not for the classes, but for my future... This is the sacrifice I'm willing to make to make a better life for myself and my future family!

Just do it. Be a man/woman and get it over with. There are extra-curricular activities that take out some of the "sting" of school work, if you really have trouble with it.

Books are great, but school is nothing something that endorses educational books.
8 hours is 1/3 of the day. Its basically going to work everyday for nothing. I can educate myself very well.
24 hours a day. 9 hours sleep.
13 left. 8 hours of school + 1 for waking up early to get dressed
5-7 hours left.
Mmmm. Waste of time, eh?

Well without that "education", you can't get ANYWHERE in this world without it! It's not a waste of time. These kids who think it is a waste need to have a reality check and realize that the lifestyle they are living can't be possible without an education!

If you were an employer would you rather grab a person who did jack squat in life and abandoned his high school career to do this, or would you rather grab a person who actually DID SOMETHING in his life, went to college, did 10 years of it, and did quite a few of his residency to perform the surgery? Well?
Face it Drace, you can't live without school. Well, you can TRY but it will be near impossible. Most jobs won't take anyone who didn't finish school. Here's something you can do Drace. You think you're smart enough to educate yourself? Quit school and home school yourself. Grab a book and see if you can do the work you're doing without a professional to help you with. Not that easy is it? I pity you if you're actually going to quit school, if that is your choice. But hey, I found out something. I hear that in the back of a pizza restaurant, they throw out unused pizzas there, but you'll have to sneak past the employees that obtained a diploma.

Haha, my teachers are hobos. The internet has a lot. Occasionally ill go on and teach my self different topics. There are things called books as well. All teachers do is give you 5 year old coloring assignments.
