School is important when the teacher talks about something you haven't learned. It is boring when you know it already.
No kidding. My friends joke around that I absorb history information and dates through osmosis when I sleep, but I really just vaguely pay attention while I read ahead in the text book during class. That either makes it really boring when we have to go onto the next unit, or gives me lots of sleep time.
after reading all the things you've writen stickmansam, I have no trouble imagining that you've dropped out of school. A suggestion, mature and go back to school. What I've seen of you from these forums has shown me that you need all the help you can get. So, go back to school, try to calm the freak down and remember that whatever troubles you may have, that they are only temporary and that things can get better. All you have to do is try. Good luck.
when you get to college you will have the chance to do what you want.. i.e. if you dont think you will use History of Civilization 2 (like me) then either half pay attention and pass, pay attention and learn something and pass, cheat dont pay attention and pass..
if you would rather be a barbarian then move to a lesser privileged country.. dont complain about something that you dont want to be a part of.. wal-mart will always need 30 year old drop outs..
People! open your eyes! school is here to help us reach a succesful future , if you look around , all the cool stuff you own you will know , for e.g : the people who had the idea to make such a thing went to school , the people who made the stuff went to school , the people who sell the stuff most probably didn't go to school and ended up with a stupid job =p , and finally the person who bought that stuff/ lent you the money went to school . It may seem like a pain in the keaster but the fact is that school is sorta important , people who drop out just well , get into drugs and stuff and most probably die before the reach the age of 25... we need school to succed , yes the teachers may be really bad sometimes but hey , i live in the middle east and here the teachers barely speak english ... so I got it harder than you.. well maybe , you got it worse but that's not the point.. the point is stay in school and one day you will be cool (ok last line was lame but hey , just do it!)
I believe that you meant "taught" all those times...it was a little confusing to read.
And people who don't learn responsibility in school are the slackers who don't care at all...so, the school system is making it so that people who strive for success get ahead, and slackers fail...
Well, if anyone sees a problem here please point it out to me.
after 5th grade i think math is pointless beacuse if i become an aerospace engineeri'm sure ill have to know if-thatn statements and the definitons of coplanar and collinnear
