I love reading, and tend to do it rather quickly, so I'm reading four novels currently:

Twilight Eyes
by Dean Koontz

False Memory by Dean Koontz

From the Corner of His Eye by Dean Koontz

and Step on a Crack by James Patterson.

Haha, you could say that I like Dean Koontz.

Yeah, Koontz is good for about three books and then *at least for me* they all seem the same. You've got some physically big and strong bad guy, who often eats A LOT, and some women and man protagonists. Usually, well off, and overly intelligent. They're all too similar for my taste, though I did like the first couple I read.

That's true, though. I see the same similarities that you pointed out, but each book has a depth to it that's really amazing.

Twilight Eyes is very good so far, although it fits a few of those stereotypes, and From the Corner of His Eye breaks most of those norms that Koontz has set up for himself.

I'm reading "Octavian Nothing"

it's about an african american boy who got brought to america through the slave trade. A collage purchased him to do studies on the differances between black people and everybody else. Its a good book 4/5.

Well, I am reading a great book that starts the series. It is called "The Scorpion" After this, time for "The Unicorn" It is a fantastic series. The back has this cool quote. "If he must, he will become evil to fight evil."

The Divinci Code is not well written. Ignore all the relgious controversy and focus on the writing and it just isn't good.

@Billygoat That's not a book so much as a joke book.

Right now, I'm reading Children of the Mind.

If you haven't read them already, I'd recommend Ender's Game(prequel to Children of the Mind) and The Name of the Wind.

If everyone could, please list an Author with the title of your book. I suppose it is easy enough to google the author, but why when everyone can just say who wrote the book.
