I am now reading Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. I have to read it for school but I liked it.
It is about a futuristic world where there are no books. Some people may be excited about this, but in the novel, nobody thinks because there are no books. The government tells you what to think and you have no opinions.....very twisted.
THe next book I want to read is The Shining
Also, I am re-reading A Series of Unfortunate Events...I read about a chapter or two before bed...I learn large amounts of vocabulary...and I like books for any age.
I am currently reading a book I have read before in my childhood plenty of times, "Ruby Holler." One of my favorite books, I am also reading Shadow of The Hegemon, great book.
I have also read the Twilight series, because all the girls are reading them, it's the only thing I can do to relate to them. :P
I just finished reading a novel called "Ape and Essence" by Aldous Huxley. It is about a futuristic post-apocalyptic book about an insane society that worships the Devil.
I'm reading Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis. It's pretty good for a random book off my older brothers bookshelf. I picked it because it was the only author I knew well.
