About Sarah Palin, she thinks that the Iraq war is God's plan.
God I wish there were more intellectuals so Mccain gets no votes.
Personally, I think she is saying that she _hopes_ this is all in God's plan, and that it will all work out. I don't think she was implying that Jesus wants us to be over in Iraq blowing holes in peoples' heads. But I guess it's easy to misconstrue, and therefore good ammunition for people that don't want to see a Republican president.
She is also politically corrupt; she fired underlings who disagreed with her politics like the Wasilla chief of police and librarian
I think you'd probably do well to actually research a bit on that manner of stuff, instead of just regurgitating things that are said by media comentators.
Furthermore how can we expect her to help lead the nation if her 17 year old daughter is pregnant and her eldest son couldn't get into college because of his drug history.
Wow, way to take potshots at someone because of "mistakes" that their children made. I hope that, one day, when you've got children, you're denied a job because your son got busted for underage drinking, or a breaking and entering, or something. That is absolutely the biggest line of crap that Palin naysayers and slinging right now. Teenage children do all manner of absolutely retarded things, and there isn't anything that parents can do about it, aside from being absolute tyrants and locking them in their room all day and night long. Now, assuming that you're gnawing on Palin's backside, I'm going to assume that you're a Democrat. What I find funny is that the same people that chant "Pro Choice! It's a woman's choice, she can do whatever she wants!" are blathering about a 17 (almost 18) year old pregnant girl. Talk about hypocrisy.
What you people need to focus on (instead of trying to analyze the shortcomings of VPs that have nothing to do with the election) are the platforms that the respective candidates are running on. Look at their proposed tax plans, for example.
Obama's Tax Plan: Play to our pockets. Instead of taking money directly from us, take it from the people that give us our paychecks. Obama wants to increase the tax on S Class Corporations (little corporations) to close to 40%. Brilliant. Let's take the lifeblood of virtually every American city and take 40% of the money they make away from them. Oh, and it gets better. So you're not a corporation, you're a sole proprietorship or partnership. Well, say goodbye to 50.3% of your income. That's right - over HALF of the money you make is going away. Why? Well, because it would look bad if Obama pulled the money directly away from the low and middle-class Americans that work at these jobs, so instead he'll pull a fast one and take it from our workplaces. That's awesome, it's a good thing we're all too stupid to notice something like that.
That is, of course, you try to go for a raise at the end of this year and get denied because your boss honestly can't afford to pay you anymore. Or even better: the responsibilities of your job, and two others, are smashed together into a single position and the person that is willing to work for the lowest wages out of the three of you that used to fill those positions gets to keep his job. The other two? Sorry, try to find another job. Trouble is, there are no other jobs.
Why aren't there any other jobs? Every small business and corporation in your city, town, or whatever in between, is hurting just as bad. Make no mistake: this isn't going to just happen in Washington DC, or Los Angeles, or Wasilla. This is going to happen to that grocery store down the street from your house, to that freakin' amazing chinese restaurant that you and your buddies like to go to, or that dentist's office that your wife works at.
Anywho...McCain's Tax Plan: He wants to cut taxes for Middle-Class Americans. He wants to pass a 10% tax cut for businesses. I know a lot of people look at it and say "Well of course he wants to cut taxes for business, he's a Republican, that's what Republicans do." But think about it: that 10% becomes wealth that doesn't disappear into the gaping maw of the government. It's money that you'll see in the form of a raise, or a new job, or a renovation in your office. McCain wants to make it harder for the Congress to raise taxes again by requiring them to have a 3/5 majority vote. He wants to ban internet taxes, lower medicare premiums, stop pork-barrel spending, earmarks, and reform Social Security.
Look it all up on the two respective candidate's websites.
