Anyways if ever you see a photo with a cool effect or you see a fun effect on somewhere like the GFX battle just come here, post a picture of the effect and I(or anyone else who wants to) can help you out to show you how to do the effect! Now I do work with photoshop so yeah my answers are for photoshop! If I don't personally know how to do the effect I'll try and supply you with a link to somewhere that does. And please everyone stay polite, if someone asks a really simple question it doesn't mean you get to tease at their "newbiness", you were all like that once! So, let the party begin! If any.. ;D
I WANNA LEARN THE MUSCLES! I wanna give my creatures the real DUKES. I want them to have megaceps, awesomeceps, and muscle all around the freakin' globe. So tell me, do any of you have a tutorial or can make one for that?
"Pivot style vid" = handdrawn animation? You can animate via GIMP, yes. Not that pivot like, because you need to move and draw it all yourself, but since I am not sure how pivot acts, I guess it is possible.
Start with the first layer, draw the first image. Then make another layer, draw the next frame and so on. When you are finished, or when you want to know how it is looking, go to filters>animation>layback. When you are finished, you should optimize the animation (filters>animation>optimize), and save it as a gif animation.
Go to the page of the drawing, press the download button, which should lead you to the full size of the drawing, on a which background. Take the link from there, put it in the img code, post. If a preview is needed, rightclick on the image on the page site (not the download site), and either "copy image address" (FF), or go to the thing I cannot recall what is called, but it is the last of the options, copy the address from there (IE). Then you put that in the img code, and the download-link into the url-code.
seeing as how I still am working on learning how to draw blood I don't see it as too late. Especially since I may need to know how to make flowing blood for my next entry into the Art Skills Competition(the beginning after July 4th) so I will try to have a look at this tomorrow if I have time, and thanks.
Somebody knows tutorials to good drawing technigues?
I just started, and my points and colors are just so wrong?!
I really wanna learn a good techingue for drawing, not only just sit and watch tutorials where i have to follow them drawing step by step, i dont think i learn that much of them
Good advice would be to get down the basics first, but you seem to be a little too impatient to that. Problem is, if you do not want to follow tutorials, all I can do is simply give you drawings to look at and learn from. As for the colours, it really comes with learning. Observe reality and put it into your fantasy.
