personally i think we are doing fine as long as we would learn how to fight like this they are driving out everyday practically expecting roadside bombs. they need snipers on point to watch the desert to keep them from activating it but we are in this for th right reasons

Well, we are doing good. Just look at the thousands of terrorists we've killed.

And also look at the thousands of soldiers and innocent people killed.

That's bound to happen in any war...

We were doing a lot better until we started withdrawing troops to send into Iraq.

Well, everything goes to Iraq with you, doesn't it?

Not everything, but in debates about Afghanistan it usually crops up because it is an actual issue that did effect our policies and actions there. The U.S. military does have a finite supply of resources which is why my biggest gripe about Iraq has always been and will probably always be that it distracted us from Afghanistan where we should have been concentrating thus allowing both the Taliban and Al Qaeda to reestablish bases of power in the region.

it seems like a major failure if anyone dies

This is mostly American's fight. Funny they should draw us Canadians into the heat of war. We're protesting to withdraw troops.

Well, death is a part of life...
It should happen to some sooner rather than later...

Being killed as a part of a war being orchestrated by rich overpriveledges goons.
What about it? You didn't finish the sentence.

Natural death is a part of life. Being killed to be used as food, or materials.

Being killed as a part of a war being orchestrated by rich overpriveledges goons.

Its so stupid that we got involved in all of this stuff. I understand afghanistan, because we were hunting for those that attacked us on 9/11 but the rest of the Midle East was such a mistake. Now we just look like jerks for staying there (niceest word I could put on here) and we would be even bigger jerks for leaving. When what we should be doing is getting out of there as fast as possible and not wasting our time and Money.

Well, we're withdrawing from Iraq. I bet you didn't hear this on the drive-by media, but over the weekend, the US forces handed over security of Anbar province to the Iraqis. You didn't hear this because they were busy ripping Palin.

I didn't finish it, but from the context you can tell I am not for people being used as pawns.

I'm not sure which crappy news sources that you frequent but the fact that there's a timetable and that we're handing over leadership to the Iraqis is already old news from the sources that I frequent.
