Of course it could cause you know, nuclear bombs, long ranged missiles from china or russia or whoever wants to attack us it could and may happen. i mean if there was an all out nuclear attack sure but hopefully that wont happen.

Nuclear war with the US would be suicide. If you don't take out every nuclear launch site in a country, then they can (and will) send nukes right back at you. That is why the US and Russia didn't ever use their nuclear stockpiles; both countries are so large that it would be very improbable that they would destroy every launch site. The US has the most operation nukes in the world, and most of the countries with nuclear weapons are much smaller than the US. This means that the US has a better chance of taking out their launch stations than the other country.

The Russian nuclear stockpile is in disarray and many nukes are not accounted for or are in bad condition. So, I made the inference that the US could put into operation the most nuclear weapons.

But it sure helps if they do. It is possible for any country to get invaded at a certain point, but with the very delicate balance in the economy and foreign countries relying on others for goods, a big war could upset that balance. Correct me if I am wrong, but does any country have the means AND motive to invade a military like the USA+allies<(maybe).

You actually can. They're called tactical nuclear bombs, to be used on the field and can be mounted on anything from a small vehicle to a small bazooka type weapon.

Hey, the UN doesn't need to sanction wars for them to happen. Vietnam, the Falkland Wars, the Chechen Wars.

all they need is a suicide mission to blow up one of nuke storage facility properly(to start a chain reaction).

Nukes don't set off other nukes: they'd destroy them in the initial blast.

The nukes are spread out so much and are located in the middle of nowhere in deserts, many feet underground. Even if your "suicide mission" set off one bomb, it wouldn't even be close to detonating a fraction of the entire stockpile.
