Well, what the presidents believe is that if the age was lowered, that younger people wouldn't abuse it. I was talking to this one person from london that was 18, he said that he was surprised that the age was so high. He said that, every once and a while, he would just want a pint of beer, nothing more. Do you think that that same concept would also work in America?

This is actually FAR more true in males than females. If it was strictly for health reasons, it could be made 18 for women and 21 for men, but then shit would hit the fan. Either way... If it's all for health reasons, then marijuana should be legalized - the effects and possible damage are safer than alcohol. But you don't see that getting pushed through.

If you want to drink, you should be able to at 18.
Too bad the highest killer of teens in the U.S. is car accidents, most of which occur while drunk. If it became legal, these incidents would most likely go up. More and more people would become reckless and not think about their actions.
