So, what do you guys think about this 12th planet having a 3600 year orbit, and now it will collide into Earth on December 21, 2012, the last day on the Mayan Calendar?
I think it might happen... haven't scientists researched it?
I'm getting confused of our solar system. Long ago, Pluto is a planet but now is a minor planet. There's also Planet X called Cena or Sena. How sure are you that a comet will land in that day? I didn't heard in the World News.
okay, first of all, scientists can and are able to figure out the exact orbits of planets stars and comets, its not that hard. So to predict whether we will be hit or not is relatively easy. I we are going to be hit, its really simple. They take a rocket out into space and get it to slightly nudge the comet over. We don't need to send nukes, explosives, or do the whole Armageddon movie thing. Would you rather move it over, or be hailed by tons of smaller yet extremely dangerous asteroids? There are tons of rumor and crazy ppl out there trying to create panic. Go on nasa, or some other trustworthy site and do some research.

Religious people predicted it, something about Jesus coming to Earth to destroy it or something
We'd probably just nuke it out of the sky, NORAD could finally itch it's itchy trigger finger. If it messed with tidal currents, we do have ships. Well, living in West Texas we'd get an hour of rain and think the sky was falling.
