This was inspired by the book "Digital Fortress". So i figured I should put it in the Popular Media section.

Try and solve this code:

XAX KAG IUM

And just so you know, the fact that there all capitals has absolutely nothing to do with it.

For WZW JZF HTL:

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
LMNOPQRSTUVWXYZABCDEFGHIJK

Grizzly 12" Slip Roll! No, I kid.

This isn't the one without an answer not in words? If it is, then there's no point in trying to solve it.

to say LOL YOU WIN. Because you can not have coded it the same way as me, because then it would not say LOL YOU WIN

he could have just changed the letters...

No but the method i used to code it ensures that only those specific letters coding the exact same that i did is the only way to say it. Any other letters coded the way i did would not come out as LOL YOU WIN.

By the way, this code might not necessarily be words

I'm not sure if you're building on EQWYIPOR. or if this is a different puzzle.

I highly doubt anyone will solve this, so i will tell you how.

Code:

LHK
JZG
K7M
X14
SXS
8ZJ
HML

Solution:

First, you have to look at the layout of you're standard Qwerty keyboard. Just the letters.

qwertyuiop
asdfghjkl
zxcvbnm

For each letter in the code, go a letter below, and then that is the real letter. If the letter in the code is on the bottom row, you go to the letter above it in the middle row. Now, the top row has more keys then the middle, and the middle has more than the bottom. The top has 10, the middle has 9, and the bottom has 7. So therefor, some letters have for than one letter representing it.

Basically what i'm saying is, if the letter is O or [/b]P[/b], they are both L otherwise there would not be a letter for P to go down to. And in the middle row, J,K, and L are all M. This is probably confusing, but that is the best i can explain it.

Ok so now that you know that, you just change the letters in the code to there real letters.

When you are done, it will say this:

Pni
uab
igl
sae
wsw
hau
ykp

It says "Pu is why Nagasaki blew".

So that makes sense except for "PU" right. So basically you have to figure out that "PU" is the abbreviation for Plutonium on The Periodic Table Of The Elements.

So then you have to figure out that Plutonium is the main component in the Atom Bomb. This applies and makes sense with the code because an Atom Bomb was dropped on Nagasaki.

So the answer would be: The Atom Bomb.

Lols this is was my latest code:

Pni
uab
igl
sae
wsw
hau
ykp

And no one was solving it and i doubted anyone would, so i just gave the answer.

Understand now?

No, I figured out the keyboard thing (for the first one: EQWYIPOR yesterday cause there isn't really much else you can do with the keyboard except for a mirror cipher and a mirror cipher doesn't take 20 minutes) and tried to use it (both ways) for the second one but I came up with jibberish (yeah, I spell it with a j), but I'm wondering what's the point of solving something if it's convoluted and arbitrary substitution of multiple variables that does not seem consistent?

How is K7M IGL? There is no relationship between 7 and G.
How is X14 SAE? 1 should not match A if L can match M. M is not below L but 9 and 0 would be. How does E become 4? Shouldn't E be S and D?
how is 8ZJ HAU? How does H become and 8?

In essence, where do the numbers come from?

Oh, lols. You have to read the message down each column.

And ok here's how: Let's take K7M.

I actually forgot to include one key component in telling you guys my solution, the numbers just represent letters, i did it to make it more confusing. Basically the if there is a number, what ever letter is that number in the alphabet, that's it. Example: 1 becomes A and 2 becomes B and so on.

Now, for K7M. K becomes I because K is the letter below I. And then 7 would become G because G is the 7th letter in the alphabet and M becomes M becomes L because that is one of the letters above it.

Now i know you're saying "but there are three letters that can become M, JKL". Well that just makes it harder because you just have to fill in the blanks with the three different letters to see which makes a real word and/or grammatical sense.

arkanine's thingy makes a lot of sense

Let me tell you something:

I wrote the code. And all arkanine did was copy and paste the solution to it that i posted >.>
