Why is the sky blue?

When the Sun's light reaches the earth, it is scattered in all directions by gasses and particles in the atmosphere. Blue light is scattered more than other colours, because it has a shorter wavelength than most of the other colours, which is why the sky is predominantly blue.

Ahhh... the best way to drive a teacher insane. One word. Why?

Hitler invaded Poland. Why? Because he wanted to expand Germany and make an empire Why? Because he was a nutjob. Why? His parents were'nt very good. Why? His dad was violent. Why? Stop it leave me alone <breaks down etc.>. (obviously these events are very basic and largely incorrect bu they illustrate my point)

You see things; and you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say, "Why not?"

I do as well. But why 42?

You see. What do you get when you multiply 6 by 9?

Exactly 6 times 9 is indeed 54. but the answer you get is still 42. I'm still not sure why Mr. Adams chose 42 I guess he liked.

It is an incorrect theory but What do you get when you multiply 6 by 9 in base thirteen?
