There are some fungi and parasites that infect a host and control them resulting in what we could consider zombie like behavior from the host. That's probably the closest we get to a real world zombie and non of them effect humans.

Actually I didn't. If wikikipedia says the same thing it is just a coincidence. I knew about zombies by learning a little about voodoo.

cool! i've been hiatus for like a month and this thread still lives on! I think i posted some were, but i'm not sure, so i still going to say my opinion on it.

Nope there is no heaven (well thats what i think). People creat heaven to not be scared of what so ever after life and imagine it would be everything good and stuff. (Like a 5 star hotel lol )

Actually since the rock doesn't have all the organisms inside it that you do, you remain much more alive even after death than the rock.

When you die, your brain and heart shuts down. When that happens, you're just as alive as a rock lying on the ground.

Just because your body is dead doesn't necessarily mean your mind is.

When your Brain cells don't get oxygen, and water..... they die. With out your heart, Your Brain doesn't receive blood or oxygen. So the cells die.Really, Any major organ failure usually results in death. If your brain is dead/inactive, you enter unconsciousness.

I don't believe in a some phantasm that inhabits my body, and magically goes off into some completely new universe/dimension when I die.

You apparently do. And neither of us are going to change our views....
So I say that we should continue debating. Its a fun mental exercise.

Ill start , I do believe in heaven and the bible says that there are streets of gold and there is no sin whatsoever.

Of course, you don't believe in spirits, but I do. So I think we have reached a point where arguing on either side is futile.

the only way to prove either side is to test it scientifically.
