More? You have NO idea how much artwork I have! i mean I'll sit there and make 10 picture a day! Each picture and sketch here averaged around 20 minutes to 1 1/2 Hours... fine maybe two or three, but that's only for Iron Man.

*Runs off with Iron Man Picture*

Wow, welcome to AG Svorath. It's good to see superior talent + skill once again gracing this forum, though to be honest I do believe that everybody here is impressed to an unprecedented degree. You most likely could already submit a portfolio to major groups and be accepted as a concept artist.

Things I'd love to know and things I lack:

a) Texture brushes. I'm acutely aware that I simply can't get things looking the way you've got it without them. Any pointers on where to get them?

b) Programs. At present everything I've ever done was done using freeware. What would you recommend?

...I do have a couple of questions though:

20 minutes to 1 1/2 hours is awfully quick for most of these. Even a speed sketcher would struggle to finish the pencil sketch pages in 90 minutes given the amount of steadiness that goes into each and every stroke, and that's why it looks so clean. Also, you say you do 10+ pictures a day...do you even go to school?

The other question is how come there are no signatures on any of these pieces? I find this highly unusual.

Ah, Strop, my favorite Mod (strictly personality-wise): You make it seem I post for attention/reaction. As for being a concept artist, I just might... but for now it's college soon!

Here is the answers to your questions:

a) Texture Brushes: This is a brush default to Adobe Photoshop CS2 (The program I use). Other than the program itself, I'm sure there is some site that has brushes on it.

b) I don't know much about freeware programs, but I'm sure you could ask a friend or relative of some-sort for a copy of Adobe. As far as I know, growth using freeware programs is limited.

Tips: Using different brushes with varied size can easily achieve a textured look, though limited, it's better than nothing! I have an example here. Don't mind the creature at the top, scroll down for the hair.

:3, I feel like an idiot! My god that was supposed to be on something else (It's 12:30 here). Great, you all probably think I'm a liar... well, if it helps any, that message was supposed to go in an e-mail... and the days I spend making 10+ drawings is on weekends...

MY GOD, if any of those took that amount of time---, I don't even know it possible...

For those of you who might still believe me:

Each of those took over 3 hours, excluding the sketches with averaged about 2-2 1/2... ><

Ah, I've waited for this question. I didn't find it necessary to sign any of my works for these reasons:

a) I am NOT a concept artist, yet...

b) I make every picture either for fun or practice

c) I have never shared work before, so no one could possibly steal my work.

Nope, I used to. It's really, really, time-consuming to get anything half-decent using the mouse though.

This probably took in the ballpark of 20 hours thanks to the grass and the clouds. Mainly because of a lack of pressure sensitivity, so you have to go back and change the brush sizes yourself. Even with the tablet I still do that habitually (as savorath suggested above) but the process is just much much quicker.

Well, what had happened was:

I had posted a mech-suit of mine and had gotten mixed feelings from other people. I then posted in the drawing competition, but had only picked a picture that I had already done (and it really didn't go with the theme) so in about 15-30 minutes I whipped up a picture of hair! Then Zophia had talked about the pictures, so I decided to post more. At the time it was for Zophia, mainly for a rouse, but after that I started posting ideas for her and others... so you could say that I posted for attention/reaction, but you wouldn't be entirely correct.

As for signing, it will have to wait. Because I am currently on my Mac, which has know image-creating software on it and I am going to bed!

So if you have any other questions, feel free to ask, but you will not get your answer until tomorrow! Cuz I'm hittin' the hay!

But here is a sketch (with a Signature :P):

At any rate I wasn't thinking that you were here to pull a shock-and-awe maneuver (glances over to Zophia and giggles)

All the same reasons as me! That, and I had no sig I liked... I think the first 800 images or so I've posted online have had no signature whatsoever...
