Sketch paper my Mom buys... It's thicker like 8 weight or something like that, too tired to think. I'm not very smart with what I work with :3, I just work it. It's like trying to explain how to breath for some reason :X. Goodnight for real!

It'd have to be pretty thick paper, Zoph, at least 110gsm but probably more than that (we use different units so I don't think it's going to help xD). You can pretty much see the grain from the way the graphite is laid down.

Thanks for the chronology Savorath, that makes perfect sense. I think the main reason the reactions were mixed were because it's not *not* awesome, but because the Art Contest is themed and etc. etc. (read the first page for what goes on, but you get the idea!) and the pic was posted in the time after entries had closed and I was about to judge...so people weren't sure what to make of it. Either way, now you've created this thread, it's all good.

By the way savorath (I keep misspelling your name!), do you have any other art accounts out there? DeviantArt, for example? Or better yet, purchasing your own domain?

Well...you could totally get people to pay you to do art for them if you so wish! So long as it didn't get in the way of your enjoyment (which, I admit, it can), you could easily make much more than your average teen's weekly allowance
