Okay: Do not post here, unless there is a real reason for it!
To make it easier for people to get the information about the Tournament.
---------------------------------------------------
Prologue:
-You know this will end up a cliche, right, Ma'm?- The white clad figure turned to look at the lanky young man behind her, her multiple eyes blinking in the light from the sinking sun. She smiles, an eerie smile, before turning her back at the humanoid again. .You should not say such a thing. Words bind, as you remember.. She looked out the window in the tall building, staring blankly at the many fields made for battle in the mixed city. It had been important to the designers that this test would push the contestants to the limit and beyond.
-This is not a good idea.- She did not even look at him, did not take his warnings seriously. .This will make my Lords happy. New warriors, stronger, different.. -But they don't... They will not belong here. And you know it.- His voice were angry now, but it did not touch her the slightest. .Just wait and see, little Sururrian..
She smiled once again, then waited until the sun had disappeared, and the lights had turned the main streets into rivers of light, and the alleys to dangerous traps of darkness.
It was to begin.-
Mixed World Tournament.
This is a Multi Media Tournament. This means that both drawings, writings and mixes will be allowed, as long as it is self made.
The first couple of rounds will be used for trying to get to know the city, and fight of any creature that might attack you.
The next rounds might end up as a tournament between the contestants, for survival.
What will happen next, you will see.
The world is made up by different territories, which you might get to discover soon after arriving. The setting is much like that of a city, but with a twist, a grusome twist.
The beast living in this deserted city is something many would hope not to meet even in dreams, along with creatures of imagination and fiction.
And of course, there will be other, intelligent traps to get past.
--
The first thing to do is to either write or draw your contestant, with their equipment and pets, if there is any. Describe the contestant, how they are, their powers, strengths and weaknesses. Try to keep it as natural as possible, so your contestant will not be overpowered and without faults, or I will give them penalities sooner or later.
Also make a quick describtion or drawing of where they are at the moment before they are called. The arrival I will post as soon as the contestants are submitted.
After writing your introductions, and you have gotten your character into place, the rounds will go like this:
I write a small introduction to the next round, containing a little information about your surroundings, and what else to be mentioned, and then post a single challenge in your messenger. Let it be a creature you meet (I wil do pictures of such things), a trap you encounter or any clues you might find.
This should be includes in your entry.
Then you should draw or write the actions of your character. Comics and longer stories should be the goal.
Each round will probably last for two weeks, to give you and myself the time to make the story, but if it is requested, the rounds will be shortened.
*Remember, there are other ways of winning, than fighting and ripping off limbs. Being sneaky and creative is rather important too.
*Out of Character knowledge will result in a penality in the next round. (OOC being when your character knows stuff he or she should not.)
*Not all you encounter will be enemies. Some might give you a clue to what the reason for your arrival might be, or give you advice. Once again, OOC is not allowed (knowing stuff other characters than you know.)
There will be penalities to overpowered characters, and you will probably not like the things I will make you do to your characters, if they have too much power. No, not at all.
Bragging is fine, sure, but being overpowered is something completely different...
So, take a look at your character sheet, and alter it, if you find faults. Or, of course, do not, and take the consequences. It is up to you.
I pick the winner by choosing which story is the best/most creative/makes me lol. Each contestant draw their character battleing the opponent, or running from the action, or whatever, and their tricky/somewhat stupid/random/lucky way of getting the opponent eliminated. It might be totally random, and not even them doing the battle, which is one of the main reasons I tried to keep all the characters in the avarage field of strength. Doing the hulk would not help much with the judging.Whenever a character is - eliminated, there will be threads of darkness somehow pulling them into the earth. What I do to them you migth find out.
Oh, and of course the contestants are welcome to become "friends" in the battle... I just still need one of them to be eliminated.
Draw your version of the battle. Mainly you would try to make your character win, right? If you do not, then the opponent will win, and I will be sad.
You should not talk to your opponent about how the battle will be, it is up to your own creativity. And that challenge I give you, of course.
Is it allowed to have more than one contestant?
Yes. Two contestants/teams are the limit. The number of team members should be no more than three.
what are the consent rules for roleplay and story writing?
I start every round with a little part of story, like I did with the thread itself. You are welcome to draw that part too (I would love that), but you do not need to. Beside the story, I will post a challenge or two to incorperate in the comic/writing, but that is up to you.
When the elimination rounds start, I do the story, and put each of the charas up againt an opponent, and the most creative solution wins. I could be Strop against Hallow, and the best story wins. Then the winner is up against another opponent, while I have fun with the loser.
The stories are made like the one in the beginning of the thread, but it has a little pasrt of it whach contains information about your character. In the first round, Arrival, I write down how your character is captured and transported to the world, and in which enviorment they end up.
When somebody have entered, they have given permission for everyone else to draw/write about their character.
Arrival
.It is time.. Her many eyes looked at the horizon, where the last of the light disappeared, leaving the city with only the electricity to save it from the thick darkness. She turned, smiling sweetly at the lad. Her smile were for some a normal, innocent smile, but to him it screamed 'danger'. .Go start the progress, little Sururrian.. He nodded, backing off slowly before turning around, leaving the room. She smiled after him, her face, her entire surface beginning to dissolve, melt and form into a black multieyed pit. It glided out from the white clothes, and stood again, disfigured as it was. .Suffer, my children. Suffer..
The boy wandered through the many dark halls and corridors, hearing the howls and snarls from the rooms on the other side of the wall. There were no door to these rooms, not windows, no exit. Sharp claws scratched the walls, and now and then a bump were heard, as the creatures on the other side tried to enter the corridors were he walked. Funnily enough he felt himself being more safe here than with the multieyed female in the upper room.
The sounds got worse with every step he took, with every stair case he walked down.
The summoning had just started as he walking in. The mages did not even look up, but concentrated on catching each of the contestants.
---
1 Phill, Bob & a Jango
Suddent darkness fills the room, and all three feel something tugging in them, physically or maybe psychically. Moments later they all stand in a dark alley in what seems to be a big modern city. Out of nowhere a blue light appears, only to disappear once again seconds later. A flicker...
2 Orlestat
A slow whispers can be heard. "Get ready, child". Strings of a dark material wraps around his scaly legs, consuming his wings, and rendering him blind of a moment. When he can see again, the bird stands in a dark alley, with dirt on the walls around him. Far up, the sky seems to be the limit. A flicker...
3 Dingsly
The door makes a cracking noise, but there is nothing there. "Hello." A whisper says, just seconds before he he is hurled into darkness. When he once again can open his eyes, he stands in a alley. The air is filled with smoke. Before him a light is shown. A flicker...
4 Sasquatch, the summon Overgrowth & Yeti
The flames gets hotter, much hotter than they should be. And darker.... Their sight is blurring, the rim blackening. A sudden flash of darkness and a nice coolness is what happens next. Overgrowth have not followed the siblings, but they have each other in this unknown city. What was that?! A flicker...
5 Fredithy P. Paddle-Waddle (Xzeno)
(will be submitted later)
6 the Nergyl Child
Sudden darkness disrupts the conversation. When the Child can see again he is alone. All alone. This is not a place he has ever seen before. A flicker...
7 Dervysh & Vixen
Through the forest it went. But something is wrong, like the vines seemingly following them. Dervysh is suddenly picked up, and both of them disappear into a blackness. A black sky is the next they see, lying on the pavement. As they rise, they see something. A flicker...
8 Ezale
The grass whispers softly, like a lullaby. Next to her her mate is making a phrrrrring sound. All these familiar things stop at once, and she finds herself in front of a blue light. A flicker...
9 Delairi
The world was nothing than greys in greys. And a black line. She slowly steps on it, but as she touches it, it sucks her in. In the next moment she stands in an alley, stepping on a line in the pavement. A flicker...
10 Billy
The calling fades a little, then gets stronger, then once again it fades. Seemingly it lures him into a trap. To late he notices the thin black strings here in empty space. They tighten around his body, taking him somewhere through a darkness. The next thing he sees is a distant light growing stronger and stronger. A flicker...
11 Azu
When the bear finally wakes, he is no longer where he lost consciousness. He feels captured, the walls too high, the street all dark. All alone...
12 Charlie
What the.... Uhm... A flicker.........
13 Pazx and Garrow
When the two of them wake up (at the same time... Weird...), they lay under a black sky, with tall building towering around them. Pazx sits up, while Garrow roll over. Uh, a shining blue light... A flicker...
14 Strop
When the ninja wakes up, he is staring into a wall. There is dirt on it, and something that seems to be either blood or slime. He gets to his feet as fast as any ninja can, but the silence is disrupted by a buzz. He stares at where the sound came from. A flicker...
15 The Fallen Child
Sudden darkness disrupts the conversation. When the Fallen can see again he is alone. All alone. This is not a place he has ever seen before. A flicker...
16 Hallow
The disruption climaxes for a second, when black tentacles grab hold of him, dragging him into another world through a gap in reality. This is a city, a grand city like that of humanoids with too much money and too little time. Before him a small lightening appears. A flicker...
---
A flicker appeared before each of the contestants. It slowly formed the figure of a masked person, a male. The blue image raised his head, seemingly looking at the contestants before him. He began talking with a deep tired sigh. -I greet you.- He twitched a little. -Welcome to this test of - abilities. This world will most probably make you cry for your mother, no offence, but if this not make you go crazy or make you cry, then... You have no humanity. No sense.- He looked to the side, taking a deep breath. -The first one to enter the tower is the winner. Before you can do that, you will have to take care of your opponents, in one way or another.- He turned his head at the contestants again, looking directly at them. -If you want to live, then do not enter...- He was cut off. Then the flicker began once again, and he disappeared.
------------------------------------------------
Boundaries:
*The streets are narrow and like a maze in nature. There are not many straight streets here.
*No matter how high the character fly or climb, they would not be able to reach the sky. The walls seem to keep stretching towards the freedom.
People start out alone. That is why you all have an individual introduction.
It is not a maze, but it have the nature of one, like really big cities have.
The time the round takes is around half an hour.
This first round, we pretty much just portray them traveling through the maze? There is nothing except for the walls, the unreachable sky, the darkness and the occasional lights?
No, not really. It is not a real maze, it is just impossible to go straight for more than 20 meters, really.
But portrait the arrival/the first half'n'hour in the city. There might be animals watching, but you cannot be sure.
* How much of it is visible at any one time? Are structures like the tower even visible?
In the next round the walls shopuld part more, and let you see the windows and doors, all the empty buildings... The tower too will be seen in when you get out of there.
* Is the town organised and is there a way to even reach rooftops? Especially for non-flying creatures.
Since the boundary for this round is the sky, no. Later it should not be hard to find a open door and take the stairs up, not should it be hard for a trained ninja to move up the walls.
* Are there any open spaces at all?
There will be.
* Are the walls breakable?
They are, but they seem to heal themselves afterwards, reveiling the odd nature of this city.
How wide is the space between the walls?/How narrow are these streets?
The narrow streets are two meters (6'7" wide, the more open alleys are 5-7 meters (16.4' - 23' wide.
What kind of lighting is there? If any?
Streets have street lights, but above them there is pretty dark. The alleys have more sparingly light, though anyone should be able to see there.
In the next round, there should be better light, and more open spaces.
Refs will be submitted later.

Blood
As he opened the doors to the great room, he noticed a slight, odd movement, but when he looked again, there was nothing. He looked at the female, her back turned at him, little movements of her gown catching his gaze. .You are late.. He nodded, thought he knew she could not see it. -But I did what you wanted from me.-
She turned, her shadow flickering, though there were no light. He frowned behind the mask, but walked closer, his commitment to her and the Government stating he was her servant through this. .We need to test them. Cut open your wrists..
He stared at her. .Cut them open.. -Ma'am, blood magic is not legal...- The boy slowly shook his head, taking a step back. .You are not the one to tell what I can and cannot, little boy. Now, do it. We have not got much time.. A knife rose slowly from a nearby table, floating through the air, stopping before him. He lowered his head, shivers running down his back as he took it.
Rolling up his sleeves he closed his eyes. The knife was sharp, cold... The blood warm.
His head felt lighter, and even though all the mechanisms kicked in, he felt rapidly more dizzy. In a moment of panic he flickered and disappeared from the room, interrupting the creation of another being, leaving the last on the row only half finished. The multieyed female yelled out, but the child were gone. As she finished and sent the beings away, she looked out the giant window. .Stupid child..
1 Phill, Bob & a Jango
While the three friends wander around in the eerie streets, the alleys and streets seem to broaden, making the feeling of a maze lessen. It seem more like an actual city, and to both sides empty stores can be seen. It is less dark, but the heavy sky above them is still like a lid over the city.
Still it seem less dangerous. Of course this is not true. A darkness similar to the one that took them here, appears a few yards away, and a blood red creature walks out, red slime dripping from its jaw, and a hungry look in its eyes. And it have seen them.
Challenge: Defeat the blood monster.
2 Orlestat
The damned city seems to never end, but after some time the narrow alleys change to broader, more comfortable streets similar to those of a bigger city. Stores filled with stuff, dirt and a lone newspaper. Still no other than him, but at least there seem to be no enemies either. Except the feeling of being watched by someone far away, and the luring dangers hidden in this unknown universe. A slight snapping sound is heard behind him, and something big and red flies over him, its beak making a sound much like bones breaking. It looks hungry and wicked.
Challenge: Defeat the blood monster. Orlestat should be able to use the sky as arena, at least for now.
3 Dingsly
After another failed attempt to find a way out of the maze like streets, the buildings seem to part, and a fresh gust of wind lifts his cape. Empty but broader streets lay before him, so different from the claustrophobic darkness behind him. Dingsly's stern gaze examine the stores and streets before him, then chooses to wander down the broadest one. "Arhh..." That sound behind him. He spin around, staring into the wide mouth of a monster. The space inside the mouth seem empty, like a black hole...
Challenge: Defeat the mouther.
4 Sasquatch, the summon Overgrowth & Yeti
Still trapped in the darkness (you should have moved:P), the lamp posts around them begin to flicker, before dying out. Even after Sasquatch summon his flaming bell pepper, the darkness was heavy, almost pressing. The flames never made it easy for them to see the surroundings. Even worse, a gurgling sound cut through the darkness. In the edge of the light, a massive figure can be seen, its skin shinning like fresh blood.
Challenge: Defeat the blood monster in the narrow streets.
5 Xzeno
After a long time walking, Xzeno finally enters a more spaceful street. And there sre stores. From a hi-fi store the melody he had been humming is played loudly, but this is the only indication of life. No humans, no other creatures, actually. Just emptiness and that tune. Curious, he walk closer. Maybe there is someone inside the store?
There is. The monster turn to look at him, then the door bell sounds, and even though he slams the door shut, it is still after him. It crashed through the window head first, but without actually breaking the glass. The window simply disappeared when confrronted with its huge, empty mouth. It smiles at him, and walks closer.
Challenge: Defeat the mouther without getting eaten.
6 the Nergyl Child and the Fallen Child
Flames and barking. The twins end up in a flaming part of the city. Fire licks the empty buildings, melts the cars to useless metal, cracks the windows open from heat. And then this annoying barking coming from everywhere, and coming closer for each moment past. Snarling, barking, growling. A dog emerges from the flames, its skin pit black, its eyes empty. It opens it mouth in a snarl. Inside there are flames, white hot flames. From the other side another appears from the flames, then another and another. Before long the whole pack growls at the twins.
Challenge: Defeat the pack of Hell Hounds. (17)

8 Ezale
Sudden light, and she stands in the open. No place to hide, no place... The streets are clean, and every little corner is lit up, no shadow is left. At least there is no way someone can sneak in on her. Still there is a feeling of being watched. No one to be seen. Watched. No one... Darkness uncoils in the middle of the street and a grotesque looking monster crawls out. It stares at her, bloody slime dripping from its muzzle...
Challenge: Defeat the blood monster in the lit up scenery.
9 Delairi
Finally light. The walls parts for a field inside the city. To all sides there is buildings, but here in the middle, there is grass, green, soft grass. Even a artificial sun hanging from nowhere. As she moves through the grass, she find it similar to something, but what it could be, she can't recall. At elast not before she looks down. Her surface have become 2dimensional, and rather badly drawn. It occurs to her... This scene is no more than the drawing of a child.
Before she can get actually shocked, a monster rises from the grass. It is as badly drawn as herself, but its jaw is filled with sharp teeth nontheless.
Challenge: Defeat the blood monster in the 2D field.
10 Billy
The shinning light of him is suddently turned off. A creature with bloody scales and evil eyes stares at him, all too close, all too..
Life is wasted, and it because even more powerful. Now it need another meal...
11 Azu

12 Charlie
When he ends the dance of victory (it lasted several minutes), Charlie finally realize where he is. Still in the city, but on a much broader street. He takes a step forward, which almost brings him out of balance. The pavement is rather flexible, like a trampoline. He laughs a little from this discovery, and bounces off into the city.
A sharp cry is heard, and a blood red creature charges at him from a window.
Challenge: Defeat the blood monster in the rubber scenery.
13 Pazx and Garrow
When the two of them reach the end of the mazelike streets they find more evidence on this city being deserted. Things have been left on the street, cars just standing there, the motor still running. Every store is open, but there is no one there.
So easy it is to just walk in and take food or money, everything they might need.
Barking, loud and agressive. A pack of black dogs surround them, their jaws filled with fire.
Challenge: Defeat the pack of Hell Hounds. (13)
14 Strop
Poor little horse being lost... It seems more like pure luck that the rule applying that he escapes the narrow streets, and step into the more open space. He sighs with relief, seeing human beings at this medival fair. No one have noticed him, and he take some time to observe them, before he walks closer. Something in his mind tells him that the way they move, the way they are, are wrong, but the relief of having found other beings surpresses the angst. It seem like a regular, old time fair, things being sold, and haggles done.
"Hello?" He calls out, but once again, no one notices him. He walk through the streams of beings, frowning from being ignored. Little do he know that these creatures have seen him, turning when he have his back at them.
Then a small, but important word is heard: "Brain?"
Challenge: Survive the fair of zombies.
15 Akuma
Where there should have been white walls, white floors, white angry people... There was only thin air. He fell, trying desperately to stop it, grasping for a window frame. Instead the attempt made to save him, rendered his arm numb as he got hold of the inner frame of the open window, but the rest of his body continued downwards, snapping the arm when it hit the outer edge of the window. Tumbling down, landing awkwardly in an open dumpster...
16 Hallow
Running through the empty streets, seeing, feeling no one. And they only seem to get more and more narrow, filled with dumpsters, making it so much harder to run. He stop for a moment, suddently filled with the feeling of another being, another being filled with fear and sudden pain. Confussion. All those strong feelings of a human. Silly beings. He walks closer, using the feelings of power and pain to guide him. Turning a corner he notices a dumpster like any other, but this is where the feeling come from...
----------------------------
The monters: The blood monsters is up to you to design. Be creative, and use the little clues I have given, but the rest is up to you.
They are puppets of the lady, which means they have some kind of intelligence. They can shapeshift if needed, but probably will not.
Inspiration:
The mouther is a eerie being, with a empty mouth. If you touch the emptyness, you will probably dissolve. No one know for sure, since no one have ever survived one:
The Hell Hounds are intelligent beings in a pack. Their insides are made of fire, thus making them explode, when they die. Think dobberman.
The zombies are like regular ombies, just less rotten, and seem to be more intelligent too.
----------------------------------
There are boundaries here too: if not encountered with a flying beast, it will be impossible for you to reach the sky and fly to the tower. Airborne creatures can fly for some time, but will probably end up near the edge of the free air space. When they reach the edge, it will feel like flying into a wall.
The walls are still annoyingly hard to break, but it is now possible to enter the buildings trough doors or windows. The insdes will be like regular appartments or stores, just empty. May, may not be filled with blood, like the people living there have been slaugthered.
-------------------------------------------------
Good luck.

Combat Style: Other than using the big fish of smelly death, his main combat style is the use of water magics. These are mainly defensive in nature though, i.e. shield bubbles and creature summons.
Allies: Prefers to work alone, but water creatures will aid him.
Strengths: Fairly quick, and slightly stronger than he appears. Good with magic (water). His scaly patches act as a sort of armor.
Weaknesses: Low stamina and low vitality.
Abilities: He's quite good on the piano. He can also communicate with fish and amphibians. A veteran of years of weekend scrabble with grandma, he is a level 130 scrabbler, as well as a level 80 upwordist.

Masquerade //1
The Lady looked at the orb, crystal clear and dark, looking at her creatures kill or be killed. She smiled slightly, seeing potential slaves among the living. She was fascinated of what seemed to be distortions in her reality, of what some of these people were able to do. Of course, they would not continue to do so, her power tightening when they moved closer to the Tower. She turned to the chess like game behind her, a model of the city, models of the contestants and her creations falling. The few monsters who lived could return to the Tower soon, with the contestants caught. She already had one.
She looked at the little pieces moving closer, then chose one, her own little slave, walking with the guardian dragon. She turned to watch him in the orb.
Her many eyes were filled with anger, when the boy appeared on the floor, her darkness letting go of him. .Did you have fun, boy?. Her voice were painfully calm, but the lad was sure she knew. He rose slowly, the pain in his arm making him a little dizzy. .Did you?!. Threads of darkness took hold of him.
This would be painful.
[...]
.Now, go do your job, child.. Her voice was again painfully calm, and all the anger seemed to have left the Lady. She lifted the beaten boy, and threw him through him through the darkness.
--------------------------
1 Phill, Bob & a Jango
-Oh, finally something easy.- The three of them spin around at the sound of the voice. A lanky kid stand before them, smiling somewhat dizzily. "Who..Who.." All of them studder, before Phil gets back on track, and grabs his scythe, pointing it at the boy. The rest get the clue and also stand ready to fight. The lad just sighs. -Uhm, just follow, will ya?- He begin walking down the street. Confuzzled the trio follows. Turning down a smaller street, the darkness is lit up, and before them a wonderful mansion appear. "Why didn't we see that?" Bob asks the two other, but none of them answer. -Hey, you.- The kid points at Phil. -You are the one to participate, the two other will have to wait out here.- They are about to protest, when the lad cuts in. -That is the rule. Or you do not want to go on?- A slight nod from Phil, while the two other pout. The kid nods, handing over a mask with the features of a red tabby cat.-Do not take it off before the end of the Masquerade. Go through the doors, and, well...- "Well, what?" The boy only smiles, leaving the trio. "So we're stuck here..." Jack complains, as Phil walks through the doors.
The mansion is as fantastic inside as outside. The dancers, the atmosphere, his furry hands. . .
2 Orlestat
Light steps suddenly appearing makes the falcon look up, getting to his feet, startled at this being sneaking in on him. He stares at the human in front of him. -Are you okay?- Feeling no threat in the boy, the bird nods. After a small conversation, the boy begin to lead the bird of prey. The trip is not long, but still the city is a confusing place. Finally after a long time of silence, and the boy leading the way through the many narrow streets, they enter the open area before the mansion, lit up beautifully, shining by itself, if seemed. -This is where the Masquerade will be held. Here is your mask.- He handed over the mask shaped like the face of a silver fox. -Do not take it off before after the end of the Masquerade.- The bird made a mocking remark, the boy, annoyed and tired, just walked off, leaving the bird by the doors. He took on the mask and entered. The first thing he noticed was that, for the first time in decades, he had hands.
3 Dingsly
-Nice kill.- Dingsley leaps up, though the cut hurts. Before him stands a lanky young man, somewhat familiar, but he is sure he haven't seen him before. He raises his sword, staring suspiciously at the man with the tired, pale face. "Who are.." -I am not here to fight, merely to lead you.- Dingsley looks suspiciously at the stranger, but nods slowly, not letting his guard down. -Follow on.- The two of them do not speak a word on the road, Dingsley watching, observing the stranger, the boy too tired and dizzy to think up words.
Soon they arrive at the grand mansion, its warm lights lit for them to follow. -This is where I stop. Here.- The lad hands over a mask to Dingsley, a grey and black antelope with long horns and big ears. "What am I supposed to do with this..?" He stares at the stranger, examining the mask. -It if for you to wear at the Masquerade. Do not take it off until the Masquerade ends.- "The...?" -Through the doors.- Dingsley looks back at the double doors, but when he looks back at the young man, he is gone. "Strange, like anything else." He sighs, takes on the mask and enter the mansion.
The insides are wonderfully decorated like a historical ball, and filled with these weird animals wearing big dresses and not so modern suits. He looks down, seeing his own weird suit, a dark blue one, and .. He has been changed. He feels at the horns on top of his head, and stared at the three fingered cloven hands.
4 Sasquatch, the summon Overgrowth & Yeti
Walking through the door, they enter an open space, lit up with a mansion. "Now, this is interesti.." Yeti is cut short by a 'Holy f***!' from somewhere behind them. Both of them spin around, ready to encounter this new danger, but all they see is a human leaning up against a wall, looking shocked. They look at each other, uncertain of what approach to take. Sasquatch, from lack of anything else to do, goes back to his default face: WTF! Seeing this, Yeti sighs, looking at the human. "Who are you?" The human looks up, still a little short of breath from the - nice surprise. "... Just a humble guide, though I seem to have gotten it easier than with the trio before..." Yeti tilts her head a little, questioning, but the human seem to either not see it, or ignore it completely. He straightens up, pointing at the mansion. -Only one of you can go in there, the other have to wait outside. Oh, and you will have to wear this mask, and not take it off before the Masquerade ends, because that would be bad.- He holds forth a mask of what must be, well, a hairless mole, complete with glasses. "He is going." Yeti points at her older brother, not really wanting to wear a mask that ugly. Sasquatch just stands there, WTF'ing all over the place. -Is he all right?- The human leans forward, whispering to Yeti. "He does that sometimes..." She whispers back, looking Somewhat tired at Sasq'. -Hmm, okay. Anyway, through the doors, and everything will, well, happen.- He hands her the mask, and disappears down an alley. She looks at her brother again, putting the mask on him, and leads him to the double doors. "What was that all about?" Sasquatch seems to have come back to reality, now openly wondering about.. Something. Yeti rolls her eyes, and pushes her brother through the doors.
Inside there is light, warmth and a lot of people.
5 Xzeno
-That is a nasty gash you got there.- The alien looks to the side where the human limbs into the light of a store. -Sorry I'm late...- He looks exhausted, and not really like an enemy. Xzeno decides that he will not kill the primitive being, yet. "What do you want, human?" -I'm here to lead you, follow me, or be left alone here, while the rest of the contestants rush to the Tower...- Xzeno looks at the being, nodding once and begin the trip towards the next test. None of them talks to each other on the way, none of them have anything to say. At the mansion the human hands over the mask of a gray feline creature, and leaves with the warning 'Do not take the mask off'. The alien rolls his eyes, puts on the mask, and step inside, immediately transformed.
6 The Nergyl Child and the Fallen Child
As the howl dies out, a low clapping can be heard. The brothers spin around, Nergyl charging at the sound. The boy barely dodges the nergyl, tumbling backwards in a controlled fall. The Nergyl Child charges again, but is stopped by a transparent blackish shield. He hammers at it, without any result. -Hmm, problem.- The boy grabs at the nergyl's face through the barrier, and everything flickers in white and grey colours. -Do not take it off.-
When he can see again, he is no longer on the streets but in a ballroom filled with furred beings. He looks enraged around to find the human who dared to touch him, but finding no one. Instead he realizes everything he is has changed. He has fur himself, a fancy dark blue one, a snout and big ears, a bushy tail and some fancy clothes. . . The only thing resembling the person he once were is his eyes. The rest is Bat-eared Fox...

8 Ezale
The streets are still all too open, and the mazzelh have no place to run, the bleeding severe... She feels like giving up, going puffball in a corner between a abandoned bike and a halfeaten burger. -... A mazzelh... Here...- She looks up, ready to be eaten, but instead she is gently patted on the head. Though it might be a trap, she purrs a little, especially when the stinging pain from the gash slowly fades to nothing. The human before her have sorrow in his eyes, guilt too as he gently picks her up, holding her in his arms. [You are going to save the fuzzball too?] The dragon like creature looks up at the green pile of fur. -I guess so...- The creature seems to want to say something, but instead he just licks a little at the hand of his human. -I am going to be killed for this, I guess.- He strokes the soft fur of the mazzelh, small tears in his eyes. The shifter looks at the boy. [You will live like always...] -Probably..-

12 Charlie
Charlie ride on on the monster, and as he does not know the city, he let it lead him. But slowly the thing that kept it together fades and the monster crumbles to nothing. "Naaaw!" He sighs, wondering if it would help to call for a cab. -You're Charlie?- a voice asks. "Uhm, yeah?" He looks around, unable to locate the place the voice come from. -The one with the alternatives...- The lanky kid steps out from a nearby store, beginning to walk off. Charlie runs after. "How'd you know, who I was?" -I am not really in the mood for this, just follow, we have a place to be soon.- Charlie stops in his track, pouting. -Just do that, if you don't want to win anything.- His voice is monotone, tired. Charlie uses a second more to pout before he follows the lad. "What's worth all this, where is the tower, who was that blue picture, why are we here, what was that monster, why did it disappear [...]"
-WOULD YOU PLEASE SHUT THE F..... UP!!- Charlie looks at the stranger a little startled, too surprised to express a word. -Thank you.- They turn a corner, the mansion lit before them. -Here's your mask, don't take it off, go through the door, good, hi.- The boy disappears in a slight flicker, leaving Charlie dumbstruck. He looks at the mask, a pheasant looking bird. He takes it on, and enters the mansion.

14 Strop
Light steps is heard through the roar of the flames. Strop slowly turn to face the boy. "Can I help you?" -I think I might be the one to help.-
(Sorry for ruining your intro a little, but I have this strong desire to just c/P the rpg into here, which I should not)
As they walk off, small talking a little the fires of the fair dies out. Somehow the lad manages to get lost, and awkward situations appear. At last they enter the open space before the mansion. -There. Inside. Don't take off the mask until the Masquerade ends. Because that is stupid.- He sighs a little, hands over the mask shaped like a light brown wolf's face, with long eyelashes.
After a few words they part, the ninja horse walking inside the mansion, the boy disappearing into the night.
15 Akuma
-SCRAM!- The blood monster stares in the direction of the yell, and so does the shapeshifter, both making big eyes. The monster dissolves into a pit of darkness. [Kai, my - hero.] The shapeshifter jumps down from the window frame, trotting to the lad's side. -Hi, 'Kuma...- The boy smiles tired and a little depressed down at the black dragon like creature. -You are caught in this mess too...- The dragon looks at the boy with bright white eyes, then nudges at his side with his snout. [I missed you, that's why, kiddo.] Trying to comfort his "master" the shapeshifter makes a purring sound, nudging his snout at the boy. The lad smiles a little, but still seems so very exhausted... Used. -I can't let you go through the tests...- [Whatever you say, kid...] The shifter disappears, and in his head the boy hears a single, comforting sentence: [I'm with you now.]
16 Hallow
The dragon turns slowly at the sound of the thud, eyeing the bleeding boy. "Oh great, you're back." The dragon moves closer, offering the boy a hand. Kai takes it, pulling himself up, his head foggy with pure, malicious pain. -Thank you...- the kid looked tired and distant, pallid from the massive blood loss. "Anything interesting happened besides torture?" The dragon sniffs the boy's face, licking off a little of the blood. -Not torture, just a beating... I talk too much.- "Then why are you back here?"
The boy explains briefly about a "arty", when directs Hallow towards the location. Little black sparks mends his skin, but he still looks tired and broken.
After some minutes the two of them stand before a great mansion lit up by glorious lights, the surface almost shining itself. The kid is still rather weak, but manages to stand. -Here, this is where it is held.- He hands the dragon a mask, a black unicorn, seemingly a female. -Just through the doors. Don't take off the mask before the Masquerade ends.- Hallow nods, taking on the mask, while the boy walks off into, well, nothing. He just disappears.
Hallow looks after him, then walk into the mansion through the double doors. And what a magnificent place! Filled with anthropomorphic creatures, prey and hunters, birds, even dragons. Like hims.. At this point he realized that A. he is not a he any more, B. he is no longer a dragon, and C. he is f***ing wearing a big read dress, quite elegant and fitting his new figure, but still a dress.
The ballroom is nicely lit up by many chandeliers high above, and the many smaller lamps on the few tables or on the walls. The walls seem to shine themselves, warm, rich light. It all looks soo... Old. Like taken out of a history books, the chapter about the renaissance. The many people dancing around on the large open space in front of the stairs are all dressed in fine robes, big dresses, slim velvet suits.
On the top of the stairs a beautiful woman stands, her hair long and glossy, her eyes big and with that innocent look in them, like that of a deer. Even though the people dance, their attention are on her. She looks at the contestants, her head tilting curiously to one side. Observing the slim tabby in the white suit, the handsome silver fox, the antelope with the long, strong frame, the mole, half blind, but still remarkable in the crimson suit. The feline with the body of a panther, the bat-ear with rage in his soul, the bird curiously looking around, his feathers as bright and shining as the suit he is wearing, the light brown wolf in her mint green dress, the fabric embracing her frame, and the black unicorn in the dress as black as her, only the white edges to show where the skin stops and the fabric begin. The deer eyed female smiles, and claps her hands. The dancers break away, and some come closer, choosing their new partner in the art of dance.
1 Phill
A white mare in a light rosa dress takes his hand, leading him to the dance floor, her brilliant blue eyes locked with his.
2 Orlestat
A prey, a deer with long legs and swift movements bid Orlestat to dance with her.
3 Dingsly
A lioness grabs Dingsley, inviting him to dance the dance of his life.
4 Sasquatch
A shy young hare curtseys before the mole, her eyes avoiding his, her fair cheeks a light red.
5 Xzeno
Another feline her fur the same ashy colour as his, the same colour of dress, but her eyes burning with energy and humour. She smiles at him, leading him towards the dance floor
6 the Nergyl Child
As the crowd lessen, there is no one left but the wolf.
12 Charlie
A peacock embraces him with curiosity, her feathers a soft brown.
14 Strop
As the crowd lessen, there is no one left than the bat-eared fox.
16 Hallow
A red dragon bow before her, his crimson scales glimpsing in the light.
"Now, let us dance." The deer eyed female exclaims, spreading out her arms. The music begins.
Something sparkles at the wrists of the dancers around them. The non-contestants has a little key tied to their wrist, it glitters in the light. Even their own partner have one (except Nerg and Strop). They must be important, those keys. Especially since the only exit has one tiny lock.
"Not all the keys are a match, nor would any here give up their key." The whispering is everywhere, low, but there. "No other way to exit."
Challenge: Get as many keys as possible, I guess. As said, they are not easy to get, and some might not even work. Be creative.
--------------
.Boy! Where is the pieces?!.. Once again there was anger in her voice as she furiously walked the corridor she left only moments before. -Hide her.- The boy whispered to the shapeshifter, leaving the mazzelh by the black being. The shapeshifter nodded, concealing the mazzelh in the shadows. He rose to meet his master. -What pieces?- He asked innocently. She grabbed his hair, pulling his face close to her many eyes. His jaw tightened, but there was no other reaction from him. .The pieces, the mazze-lh and the shapeshifter.. He just looked at her, nothing revealing that he really was the one to blame. -I don't know where they might be, Ma'am.- She stared at him, her eyes and the darkness in her drilling through his mind. He realized she was more than partly darkness, no, she was a part of the darkness, not the element but the feeling, the element of death. She looked closely at him, but his composure was too great and she let go. .Tell me if you see them, boy. They do not have a life for themselves, they move on behalf of the will fo others.. She took a last look at him, then left for the upper room once again. The lad shivered from exhaustion and, as he realized, fear. Pure fear. He sits down again, the shapeshifter revealing the mazzelh once again.
7 Dervysh & Vixen
The monster swallows them, the darkness in its texture too strong against the power of Dervysh. All is darkness and warmth for a long time, then it is more darkness but this time cold. Vixen looks up, examine the surroundings with her gaze. A dungeon, it seems, and they are locked up inside it with some other persons, an unconscious bear with a growling dog, a guy that look like a superhero, a ninjaish person with a rabbit and a girl with some weird... thing about her.
8 Ezale
The mazzelh shivers a little, when she is let go and covered in darkness. She miwls out to her new comfort, but a low voice asks her to keep quite, for the sake of her security. Moments later she is let into the light again.

The shapeshifter does what he is told, trying to comfort the mazzelh when she suddenly miwls. When he is free to appear again, the boy is just sitting there, shivering and looking sick. He licks his cheek, tasting his sweat, trying to comfort. Making small nudging motions against the tangled hair.
As you might understand, this transformation leads to one thing: You abilities are gone. Things you have been trained in, like fighting styles and so should still be there, but there is no weapons, no magic... Not much of you left.
A test in creativity. If you kill someone there is big consequences, as you are in a ball room. Everything shall be done in a way that little will notice it.
The dance was originall supposed to be a quadrille, but non of you know what that is, so it will probably be a waltz. There are breaks in the dancing, of course, there will be both food and wine. Think at it as a ballroom dance, which it is.
There is possibilities for interacting with the other contestants, as well as the dancers...
