well for viruses im going to make a counter act virus called the "T-virus" the reason why i call it the "T-virus" cause it means "time to leave the body and stop messing with the immune system" what it does is eradicate the virus basically

But you need an efficient and inexpensive way to mass produce the product, and it has to have a natural function of adapting and advancing to counter-act all the viruses the body will come in contact with.

@ShintetsuWA

You do mean the STD Herpes and not the oral form right? Because then it would mean that you would get warts near your mouth which doesn't sound correct.

Oh sorry, I meant that you would get cold sores near your mouth(I was thinking of skin cancer for some reason with warts getting infected).

Medicine is not always helpful.... It's bad if you're overdosed.... Don't drink medicine when you have a simple headache cause some ingredients there are bad when you have many in your body....

For painkillers it is only bad when you actually begin to have abstinenses when you are not taking them, making the pain worse or the like.
I know, I suffer from migraine, which often mean I have to take loads of painkillers and migraine medicine.
Some migraine patients have to detox themselves, because they have to medicate themselves soo much, meaning lots of pain and no way to ease it.

Well,maybe our bodies can adapt or not,but no new forms of virus's have been discovered for a while.

How far are you from that point, dear?

Imagine how screwed the human race would be, if we were to face a virus with intelligent design... Possibly created by some humans, to infect people invisibly, having an extended incubation period that only affects how long it takes before the symptoms show, not preventing further transferring of the virus in the meantime... As contagious as possible... Invisibly infecting all of mankind... Then suddenly, it mutates. It becomes a horribly deadly thing, and everybody is already infected, so it will be hard to treat it...

Yeah, I've been playing too much Pandemic... But intelligently designed viruses would be nasty...

I INSTANLY thought of that while reading your post Zophia! LOL, you need to stop playing that for a while...

Intelligent design as in a virus that can think? Yes, that would be terrible I guess. But I don't see that happening at all. As long as viruses have RNA, it cannot happen.

I do not take enough pills for that to happen to me. The migraine pills disappear from the body in about two weeks, and I do not take that many painkillers.

Sad thing is, I only played it twice, and still it's stuck on my brain. D:
And intelligent viruses are a pretty far shot (and they'd need a hive mind for it to work), but some scientist could possibly, maybe, eventually concoct a virus with such qualities... I don't know, but it's a nice spooky thought, no?

@Cenere:
But the painkillers you do take, does not exactly seem to be effective for you...

Uhm, "such qualities" as in the ability to spread unnoticed, then turn deadly... Not as in intelligence... Just figured I needed to clear that up...

Well actually that's the other way around...
The reason chick pocks is disappearing is that now we get shots when we are babies, age 12, and old people, the shots are little bits of the disease so that the human immune system can adapt to that, not the ful disease.
Not with humans. We keep everyone around, regardless of how evolutionarily fit they might be. Gives some evil people (like Hitler) the idea for eugenics. Making a better human race by wiping out the weakest.

Well actually if two people that are storng against some diseases (one rarely ever would get polio, and the other wouldn't really get chicken pox for example) would likely make a strong babie and there is a posiblity the child could inherit both of those triats, which is a good variation amongst other humans.
...yada yada yada...

Just because I am weird like that, Zophia.

Funny thing is, bacteria and viruses, I think, do not really want to kill the victim, as it kills them. Deadly diseases are being somewhat suicidal, especially if they cannot get to spread.
