sry for double post but people are saying theyre heavy metal. if youve listened to pure heavy metal youd know the difrence, trust me.

i think this is one of the best VS. threads yet, if not the best.

but i gotta say BFMV i like there songs a little better but its REALLY REALLY hard to choose between the two

BFMV all the way! I like some A7X songs, but after some time they just all sound the same to me and I think that Bullet are a more talented band. I hope their new album will be more like The Poison, which i prefer to the other one.

I like BfyV in general, better.
But imo A7F has a better guitarist.

Both are metal and both are good,but i can say,
BFMV is better,why?

1.more talent,because they are playing Metal with 4 persons but a7x plays with 5 persons,even the singer of BFMV,matt tuck sings and plays guitar,but matt sanders only sings.

2.better rhythm and energitic,BFMV has a style that when listen to it, it looks like a formulla of energy,but A7x gives me a headache!!!

but i can say,A7x is just one step lower than BFMV,they are good.

As long as they won't try to include the word METAL in their music.

You're getting confused Zootsuit. Matt Tuck of Bullet had the surgery. Shadows doesn't necessarily have vocal issues, he's just a bit too raspy for me.
Bullet is by far the best, and I'll tell you why. Their use of two guitars in a melody definately attracts your ear. The drum beats are a bit more varied than A7X. Yes, Gates is a better guitarist, but his parts in songs really don't reflect his skill.

Actually it was matt shadows who had the vocal surgery. Sorry i hate correcting mods, just these 2 bands are my absolute favorite, along with atreyu. Anyways M shadows needed the vocal surgery because he needed to remove a nerve that when he screamed caused him to feel more pain, and made his voice sound horribly raspy while trying to scream. He can still scream now, its just a rumour that he isnt able to. But anyways both bands are amazing... Considering avenged sevenfold came in 2nd place out of all the bands on ultimate guitar... Metallica came in first.

The only people who hate A7x and BFMV are people who enjoy listening to Behemoth, cannibal corpse, job for a cowboy... Basically anything where id need to shove something in my mouth in order to even try and sound like the lead singer. Or they like rap and hip hop and pop.....
