I was at the lunch table today and a bunch of guys got on the subject of women in the military. We had a big discussion over it and winded up arguing in the end lol. What do you all think?
Here is my opinion. Anyone who is willing to give there life for this country should be respected no matter if they are male, female, white, black, purple, etc. Also women have been a big part in our armed forces. They are also statistically better marksmen. The point I make is that women are a good improvement to the military and some of our best soldiers are indeed women.
Women fall under a different category. They military isn't quick to send them to war as with men.
It's still illegal to put a woman in a hand to hand to combat type of position. Woman are sent to war they just aren't generally put in the more dangerous positions.

I'm sure it is. I mean the reason you see woman POWs is because they are in dangerous positions but in general it seems having a vagina means your life is more important therefore you don't get put in the more dangerous jobs. A woman couldn't be a navy seal for instance because of the law concerning woman in combat.
However, most girls don't really... push to have bigass muscles... because its ugly and they won't exactly need to be able to beat someone up other than another girl maybe who also doesnt exactly push for those muscles either, because any guy who hits a girl will just end up getting his *** kicked by her friends.
Because all woman will always have a group of guys around to beat an attacker up.
No, but you can always get some people to beat that person up later. When you yourself can't fight well, than you should have friends who will back you up.
If a woman is raped or beaten senseless by an attacker in a ally then having some guy to beat him up later is a poor result. In real life woman need to be strong and not rely on some guy to save their weak little bodies from a big scary man. Nowadays you see more self defense classes and more woman working on those "ugly" muscles.
Which leads me to the point that there is no reason a woman couldn't serve in the military.
You just dont get it, do you? When theres a reason to fight, you fight. If you ignore that reason, than your a *****. And so far, from the points you've made, your making yourself sound like a *****. "FIGHTING IS BAD, SOMEONE COULD GET HURT!!!111ONEONE" No duh. Thats the point of a fight.
Yes a reason. A valid reason. Fighting is for those who don't have the ability to talk or argue or debate. Fighting is the first resort of the weak minded and the last resort of the intelligent.
