I saw yet another video of a group of protestors burning the American flag. The disgust me! Please tell me someone else out here agrees that it is wrong and should be illegal.
Because we support protests against an unjust government! Because we want to make the world better, not just for ourselves, but for everyone! Sorry for caring. Maybe apathy is the best choice from now on.
Yes because burning your countries flag that many have faught and died for and will countinue to die for is caring. you have a corrupted sense of view.
lmao i would never die for my country, i dont give a **** about you ****ers
I don't know Samy what do you think. Another person who thinks he has the right to call himself an "American". It sucks when we see so many dumb***es like this that we will be protecting in a few years.
I bet a very large minority of the people that have died for their countries decided to risk their lives' because they thought the world could be saved.
Ok just recapping because I'm tired of seeing so many people come in and not have a clue what is going on IT IS LEGAL to burn the flag. do not tell me other wise if it was legal then I would have not started this topic.
Supporters of the freedom to burn flags are more patriotic than those against it. We understand that America was founded as a dissenter; a radical revolutionary against an oppressive government. America was founded as a republic; a democratic institution to allow the government to be changed as the people see fit. America was founded as a haven; a refuge for those trampled and belittled. Only by allowing people to express themselves without the tyranny of others oppressing them can we have an America.
Yes this country was forged off of those things. But at the same time your taking everything you gained and worked for and are basically saying screw it by burning your countries flag. So many people have a problem with this. There are just a few chemically imbalanced people who think that this country is wrong. Well then GO TO A DIFFERENT COUNTRY. No one is keeping you here.
How many cases, out of the millions filed annually, make it to the Supreme Court again?
This was a African American in the 1950's. Segregation was in affect before this. Brown didn't want to walk his duaghter to the black school (as it was called in the 50's). He wanted to take his duaghter 2 blocks to the white school. Seems impossible to change the segregation of schools, and just because he didn't want to walk as far, but he did and he took it to court many times until he ended up to the supreme court so the impossible dosen't seem so impossible does it. This trial overturned Plessy vs.Ferguson. Which was segregation.
