I saw yet another video of a group of protestors burning the American flag. The disgust me! Please tell me someone else out here agrees that it is wrong and should be illegal.

I ripped mine off a Japanese WW2 treatment

Oh, well I guess were even. The Japanese were brutal back then, how did they even come up with that?

Honestly, I don't see what the fuss is about. I often disagree, sometimes quite loudly with the government of various nations. In some cases where I am in complete disagreement with a nations policies I will boycott products made in that nation. (I am attempting to boycott Chinese products, it is NOT easy.) Never once have I considered burning a flag. To go out and purchase a flag and then set fire to it?

Good for the flag making industry I guess. Honestly, why allow yourself to be upset over some idiot burning a flag? Just point and laugh, who knows, maybe toxic off-gassing from the fire will give him lung cancer...

People take symbolism too far. Almost verges on Idol Worship.

Burning the flag i guess is a way to express your freedom of speech but honestly thats symbolism for burning america...you could consider it treason

I do consider it treason. Burning the American Flag symbolizes a deep hatred of this free and great land, and those who do so should be relocated to someplace that's not free, like China or Hell.

Burning the American Flag in PUBLIC will incite anger, and is clearly a gesture against the nation. THEN you get reprimanded...

Actually, the most that law enforcement could do is glare at you. Under Texas vs. Johnson, it is perfectly legal for anyone to burn the American flag, as it is classified as free speech.
