I'm gonna go with starcraft. That game is hard and addicting at the same time. It's very fast paced and it also requires a huge amount of strategy and skill at using hotkeys. Now, as to the post above on warcraft, i think what he meant was the cd game, not the online game. warcraft as a cd game has some strategy but it's much easier than starcraft.
