The economy is vital for any president. It's one of the key reasons Obama won the election.
For starters thats a stupid argument. If 911 had happened under clinton no doubt he would have done the same. Plus its not like the president kills them personally, thats the army's job. If he cant handle more than one major issue then he isnt a very good president.
Part of the media's job is to scrutinise what the government is doing. Its not like Clinton didnt receive flak either, probably more so than Bush for the affair.

What are you ralking about, this thread is about the republican party not Iraq. Plus WW2 and the Iraq war are completely different contexts. People arent angry at the number of deaths, they dont think we should be there in the first place. In WW2 people belived the war was justified.

Stop outsourcing jobs, starting wars we don't need, invading our privacy, giving defense contracts away to your own companies without allowing bids, and choosing bad VP candidates. The list can go on, you know.

How do you know Clinton wouldn't have? The liberals aren't annoyed with Bush purely because he is republican, but for all of the reasons that Zootsuit stated. One of the core liberal beliefs is that people should have rights and during the Bush regime many people feel he has been taking those away.
