Since Catholics and Christians try and convert eveyone to their religion, shouldn't Jews do that to?
The Jews belive that they are the chosen people and therefore operate a policy of exclusivity whcih is why they do not actively seek to convert people to their faith.
I am proud to say I am a Jew. The Holocaust was a terrible time for the Jews, killing off millions of Jews in Europe. My great grandparents parished in the Halocaust. Ok, time to get back on topic. For hundreds of years Christians and Catholics have been assimilating people. During Colombus' time, the Spanish tried to convert all the Native Americans. you make it sound like they are touching them inappropriately or something. They are spreading the word of god not taking advantage of them. Now when the Christians started spreading by the sword, that was a different story. I don't agree with shoving my religion down other peoples throats but i do believe it is important to make Christianity known to people who have no idea what it is.

That link doesn't work by the way. From my experiences at temple I have never met a Rabbi that was a molestor. Yet again, i have never met a father who was a molestor either. I say that the majority of a race or religion shouldn't be judged upon by several molestors or phycopaths.

it actually depends on the religions morals, and I think that makes judism actually a little cool, they don't try to convert, they let other people come to them on their own. Even though I do a bit of converting myself. . ..
