There's these commercials that are talking about how the use of the word 'gay' as a way to describe something bad is wrong. There's alot of people that use the word gay in a negative type of way just in spite of the commercials. What do you feel about those commercials or using the word gay as a way of describing something bad? Do you think that is protected by the 1st amendment rights? Just wanted to see what people thought about it.
I know..i honestly say both and neither are meant as a slur, yet if you think saying one is bad you should also think the other is, or else I would consider that hypocritical.
well u see alot of teens using slang like " wicked" and "sick" and "thats the SH**" alot , and they use these terms as good words , so if people say gay as in a bad thing it doesnt really make a difference , the worlds language skills are going down the craphole , and theres nothing we can do about it , so face it , move on , live life
okay. . . but does it really help people who are already discriminated against to know that their "label" is also used for anything and everything negative? I personally find it irrational. Especially since it's used for things that aren't even stereotypically homosexual. It's like "Ughh our teacher gave us a bunch of homework today, that's so white." or "she's going off on everyone today, she's being so straight" Doesn't make much sense. . .
Well that is different. I mean, I don't like using the word gay at all, I think it's pretty disrespectful, but I know people who use it, and between my friends many of them call each other gay as a joke. But at the same time it's different in the way you use it.
If you see a pink shirt with flowers, okay, you say "that's so gay" But if you see someone tripping, and say "ahaha fag" or see an ugly vase, and say "omg gay vase", yeah, it's not funny anymore. I don't like when people say gay, only when you have a good bond with the person, meaning that you know it won't be offensive at all, at the time. But just blurting it out whenever the chance pops up, anywhere, anytime and with anyone, it's quite irritating.

Dogs can be gay. Lions can be gay. Animals can be gay. Actually, a lot of animals are naturally bisexual. So how can it be unnatural in any way?
You wouldnt need to look any further than youtube. Doubtless there are tons of videos of male on male animal action.
A lot of the time it's because they're in heat the things are sex crazy, they don't care if it's male or female. They're not gay also these could be fake, you really can't prove they are the same sex
Ok First of all most of the people use gay instead of Retared, stupid, insulting them or what ever they are calling gay. So basically the average teen (srry for most of you guys) 97% Of all teens in the USA have used and are useing gay as a cussword or as a insult.
