um the reason is that Israel has a shiz load more weapons than the middle east. These ppl need to be stopped, seriously. The UN needs to do something and fast. Its on the UN's hands now, as most middle east countries are scared of what israel will do to them if they try and help the palestines... Well again i hope that the UN will send in military before Israel kills em all...

I got one thing to say those people could fight over anything any time seriously like gaza will say that isreal is shit and they start a war omg seriously those people are insane all they do is fight maybe if they made peace it wouold be a lot easier in life.

Also, i would just bring it up again to all the palistine supporters that WHY ARENT MUSLUM COUNTRIES HELPING!!!! declare war or somethin on isreal! i thought they were still gonna be united, even after the ottoman empire broke up.

The only path to Gaza is through Egypt (Ma'abar Rafah) and Egypt refuses to let anyone in because the government wants to keep peace with Israel. Former Egyptian leader Anwar Al-Sadat was assassinated for signing a peace treaty with Israel. People are not allowed into Gaza. Many citizens in the Arab world would die (pun unintended) to go to Gaza and help fight the Israelis, but they can't. As for the governments, they fear Israel and it's allies. I agree with the people who said that the US should stop supporting Israel, it would be a lot less intimidating to Arab leaders if it didn't have the US backing it up. Besides, it would be for the greater good of America, it got to where it was by isolationalism, staying away and not taking part in European (in this case it would also include Israel) affairs.

I forgot to add that I think the British and French purposely tried to split up Arabian countries as they were too powerful when united, throughout history the Arabs were among the strongest people.

basically if you don't want to read the link it says that Israel stops fighting for 3 hours every day to let Palestinians get aid. Now, it also says that Palestinians fire rockets during the cease fire and that Israelis bomb the launch sites, but that's not the point. the point is, none of this bull about Israel blocking all aid from going in there. All the people that claimed that ISrael was blocking gaza off from aid: pwned by evidence. seriously, do research. and, Hamas just launched a phosphor bomb at Israel.

For three hours on one day oh boy that's nearly 1% of the time they've attacked gaza!

However, the lull was violated nearly every day - by Palestinian rocket fire into Israel and Israeli air strikes on suspected Palestinian rocket launchers - said aid workers.

yes. they are bombing rocket launch sites. of course the launch sites are in gaza, they don't have as many human shields elsewhere.

also, please note that this article was found after about 30 seconds on google news. it isn't that hard to get this stuff, so you people making errenous claims about Israel blockading Gaza have no excuse. And, the evidence is really kinda unbiased. It gives you all the facts, more than you can say for smoe news sources, so who cares if they add there own spin? just read past it to the evidence.

on a completely different note:
all these arguments about children dying and hundreds of palistinians being killed don't belong here. They are emotional appeals with no real logic behind them. we should keep this a debate and not a "we have more pictures of dead children than you do" war. yes, they can be a part, but not the whole basis of your argument. claim that Israel is not being accurate enough with their bombings, but don't try to sway peoples opinions with pure emotions.

I agree with sammy, if you can't post a link, then why even give us the code to go and find it?

Back on topic though, it's nice that Israel is allowing 3 hour cease fires to allow aid workers in, it gives them some sympathy with the rest of the world

Yeah but for how long? I mean the rest of the world is urging the UN (United Nations) to step it up, and help solve this conflict a lot more. And really this needs to get solved befor some other country tries to get involved, and ends up esclating the whole conflict.
