I haven't seen Family Guy, so I would have to say The Simpsons. I love Bart + Homer. They're like a less mature Laurel and Hardy I think.

They have videos on youtube on such where they show what Simpsons copied from Family Guy or the other way around (Not actually true o_O) But it would seem that both are basically the same, just an age gap between the two...
