There is no physical evidence that God exists. The only evidence that has been shown is just stories and things people have made due to the belief. Don't get me wrong that there is a prophet named Jesus but if there was a God, why would there be so much war and hatred in the world today?
Oh and I am Catholic so don't think I am an Anti-Christian guy or something.
Ok i dont know or care what terrorist really means now.
But just keep THIS in mind:
Islam forbids anything "evil" you can think of.
NO LESS than Christianity or... Budhism. Common sense is what people need actually. Pretty much every religion does forbid evil things even if it doesnt directly mention it. As an example, do you think Christianity really allows the abuse of male children by priests (or anyone...) just because the Bible doesnt say "Thou shall not abuse young children." Whoever wrote it back than probably didnt even slightly thought of anything like that needing being specially mentioned. It just should be obvious... Perhaps the Quran is even more "complete" or at least more "clear" than the Bible or Old Testament because it was written much more recently, was turned into the form of a book, and the language used in it should be easier to understand correctly. Theres even lots of different "versions" of the Bible...
BTW while any religion forbids doing evil, like killing, the case of war is something totally different. Killing is the last thing to be done but sometimes it has to be done... Im not defending those terrorists here now of course. They obviously dont do it for good reasons but most probably most or all of those suicide bombers got brainwashed to believe that they do good.
Well matthewest, the reason for the war and hatred is apparently free will given to people by God, according to the Christians I know who go a little too far in their arguments and start yelling "free will" at me. We were recently talking about the Holocaust for some assignment, and we made a chart giving amounts of blame to different people or groups. Yahweh, I think it was, was one of them. That's either the Jewish god or the Jewish word for god, never really found out. Anyway, when I gave him a little bit of the blame, I said he could have just owned Hitler or something, but they started on about free will. It really makes me mad that that's the excuse for God not intervening if he does exist. Is stuff like that really part of his plan? Does he really want stuff like that to happen? I would hope not. Does anyone disagree with my Christian friends' arguments or agree?

Well, we do have the choice to do what we want or not. God always has a reason of doing what is done. So he let Hitler massacre the Jews for some reason. If you want to know you can find out yourself.
every thing that you don't feel, hear or see doesn't exist
Those are your ideals and I respect them. Though, there are things which you do not know and cannot feel, hear and experience that exist.
Um knight, how am I supposed to find out what God's reason for letting Hitler massacring the Jews is? 1)I'm agnostic and am not totally convinced that God does or doesn't exist and 2)if there is a God, how am I supposed to talk to him and him giving a specific, clear answer that isn't some puzzle?
I'd still like knight to explain how I'm supposed to ask what God's reasoning for letting Hitler massacre the Jews was. I don't see any way I can that I'll get a clear answer.
hitler was most lkely possesed and he lived after Jesus died on the cross. for humans in modern times he doesn't just open up the Earth and swallow people like he did to people before he died on the cross when people sinned.
