Why do people continue to talk about religion? Once again, the three worst things to talk about are:
1. Polotics
2. Economy/money
3. RELIGION

Which thread did you say that on? I remember it.

Anyway it is a good debate topic because it is so devisive. There are three main groups Agnostic, atheist and theist then each one has many different view within. Leading to an almost neverending with many issues to discuss. Debating whether God exists is much better than debating whether cows exist.

And the title of this forum sections is called "World Events, Politics, Religion, Etc."
SO if you have nothing but that to say, do not post.
Because it is annoying. And not very constructive.
AND: We do not care.

Why did people begin being rude? (refering to the lick balls part > &gt
I wonder why atheist cannot just look at God as a cartoon character that other are nerding about, and let it be? I am okay with the debates, but I hate to get the "I haz science, and that is right!", which seems to pop up now and then, just as much as atheists hate the "I haz religion, and that is right!". I hate that too, though.

God
a. A being conceived as the perfect, omnipotent, omniscient originator and ruler of the universe, the principal object of faith and worship in monotheistic religions.
b. The force, effect, or a manifestation or aspect of this being.
2. A being of supernatural powers or attributes, believed in and worshiped by a people, especially a male deity thought to control some part of nature or reality.
3. An image of a supernatural being; an idol.
4. One that is worshiped, idealized, or followed: Money was their god.
5. A very handsome man.
6. A powerful ruler or despot.

The number 6 is quite fun and makes me remember of my history class. Other than that, I agree with Cenere. There're fanatics on both sides, although fanatic is a word mostly used to describe the most religious people.

I think that God is real in my opinion. There was jesus who as we all know claimed that there was a god who had jesus be born to be the savior of humanity. Someone yes could have made up the bible, but how and why? I don't think that we evolved from monkies, for the fact that if we did, why aren't monkies able to talk or even able to closely talk. I think like this: Who creates houses? We do. Who creates toys?: We do. Everything needs a creator, which means the world along with us does. Being the fact a God. Now which and what god, I can't answer that, but when I say I believe in god, it's the one who exists. That's why I pray to god every night not jesus, jesus if you do exist sorry =) haha.

We evolved from the same animal the monkies did, but not from monkies. The first sentence pretty much resumes my thoughts

I think that God is real in my opinion

Look god do really exist

There is no way to prove that, unless you consider the ten arguments proof. So please, people stop saying that god definitively either does or doesn't exist.

Personally, I have the very rare opinion that actually changes daily. Today I don't believe in god. A couple days ago I did. Yesterday I couldn't decide.

Ok there's a few people in here that need to work on their grammar. An example is the person lynoth quoted that said "look god do really exist." C'mon...If you're gonna post something that short, you can glance over it to check if it's fluent...Anyway. Again @ lynoth. You sound agnostic, sort of. You go back and forth, and can't decide sometimes. I'm glad you said something about not saying that god definitely does or doesn't exist, because like I've said before, if not in this thread, then probably in the "Who's Christian" thread, that I'm agnostic because it can't be proven either way. And like always I'm agreeing with Pixie214. The reason they're on here is that they're very debatable. And like Cenere said, politics and religion are in the name of this section of the forums, and the economy would fall under this section, too.

It cannot be proven that God does or does not exist. As there as there is religion there will always be people questioning science and as long as there is science there will always be people questioning religion. I'm an agnostic, but I mainly believe in things that are proven. I'm just not going to say that God does not exist and then have no proof to back me up.

You don't know anything other than what you are told. And the people who told you, were told by some one else. For 2000 years people have been doing this about Christ. What makes any of you think that everyone of those people was telling the truth. Didn't you ever play telephone in grade school?

Like the worlds biggest practical joke? That would be cruel. You die, waalk towards the light and you see God. He holds up a card turns it over and... "Bluff".

Interesting theory RAYDEN (yours not mine, mine is ridiculous).

Didn't you ever play telephone in grade school?

Is that like Chinese whispers (whoops need to be politically correct, we wouldn't want to be racist now)

it's were you form a line and whisper something to the person next to you, over and over, to find out how it comes out in the end.

Zzz.. It wasn't spam until Dragon Ball didn't respond. He would probably say that it was, and then I was going to say that his refrigerator might be broken. It might be full of radioactive waste that would kill him the next time he opened it. It's a possibility, but it's not very likely. The same goes for God. There's a possibility that he exists, sure, but that doesn't mean that it's a 50% possibility.
